Idiots with the whistles (21 Viewers)

Agree to be honest.

Also the name and shame of a bloke with a whistle with an image on a different site, yes a bit of a dick for posing with a whistle but can't say its him who blew it at that time.

Yeah I wasn't keen on that, it had the air of one of those internet vigilante witchhunts that invariably see the wrong person getting dog's abuse.

What I don't get is when somebody says anything about a protest they don't agree with and they are being divisive and slagging off fellow fans, but it's free reign for anybody else because they love the club?

Call people who went to Sixfields cunts, but it's SISU dividing the fans.

Not sure you could make it up.

Same thing as Sixfields. The cunts that went there where very load on the keyboard but when I stood on the hill you heard nothing except the away fans.
Plenty of anti Wasps noise on here but as for taking the fight to them? Wind, piss and keyboards.

18 months gentlemen.

Calling people who attended football matches cunts? You fucking idiot.
I never went but would never call fellow fans that for attending matches.

Ironic you mention people behind keyboards, when its exactly what you are doing yourself.

I meant condemn the people, fuck knows why i've wrote condone.
If the whistles were being used in a form of protest like the Sheffield fixture, I would be inclined to agree.

But they weren't, they were being used to try and put off the Bolton players when they attacking and it backfired. Thats what pisses me off

what I mean is it deserves more publicity and it probably would have had it if it wasn't for the whistle nonsense.

I thought you only went away?
Been the past two home games, I brought a friends ST off him for £40 before xmas. He's that pissed off with it all and I can't keep affording away days.

My main disappointment with this whole thing is that it's almost been a full day and I've only just now thought to make a Father Damo reference

Fair enough, the best idea is to get the club to ban them (whistles) so we don't have this type of in house fighting ever again.

I was amongst the sit on, it hasn't took any shine off it at all, the in house fighting has.
You love to propagate it with your consistent "With us or against us" rhetoric on here.

The whistles are not an effective way of protesting, they've already divided the fans and I suggest were only tolerated at Sheffield United due to the fact it was on live TV and therefore was noticeable.

As for whether it led to the equaliser yesterday or not, it's probably open for debate really as the goal was no foregone conclusion even when the cross came in.

I've said my peace on Whistles.

This is simple really, some people heard the whistle, some didn't. That's understandable.
Some people think the whistle caused our players to pause and led to the goal, some don't. Again fair enough.
What is odd is the people who didn't hear the whistle and are refusing to believe there was a whistle.

And also odd is for nick to imply that people who didn't hear it are lying

Yes, that's the contradiction here. In one breath they say that we are all "blaming the fans as usual", etc and in the next calling families and fans who went to Sixfields 'cunts'. I really think they believe what they write and can justify stuff despite it being highly hypocritical. GG and Beduff (who liked the post) are prime examples of this.

Apart from the 'c**t' bit, what did he say that was actually wrong?

He has a point, where are your protests and energy being spent when it comes to protests against Wasps, Council e.c.t ? on here? great...

Don't backtrack. You liked the post so you must have agreed with it. I only like posts I agree with. Just shows the contempt you hold some fans in.

How's it backtracking? I liked his post because he's proved a point to you, where as you never prove any point, you just constantly bitch.

There was no point. He called fans (including kids, women) "cunts". He then went off on one about keyboard warriors, at the same time as going off on one from behind his keyboard, hurling abuse at fans! The hypocrisy is breathtaking from the both of you.

Well isn't that nice. I have a disability and you choose to use it against me and say it's embarrassing. What is your policy on members of this forum who discriminate against other members in this way?

Taking personal offence and playing the disability card. Brilliant stuff snowflake.

Hardly being a hypocrite considering I've not called fans who attended Sixfields cunts...

Told you why I liked his post, because of your lack of protests against Wasps part... infact lack of protest all together.

I think all this has done is further prove that the groups are not fit for purpose. It is very much their way or the highway. Fans give feedback but unless it's SISU out all the time, they are not interested.

Wasn't he the one who did a protest inside Sixfields?

My lack of protest? There was a lack of protest from ANYONE in Coventry and Warwickshire. The local press, the council, the fan base, the fans' organisation. You liked the post, so you agreed with it. Nice. Another fine example of your hypocrisy though, have a go at me but ignore everyone else who did just as much, or just as little.

Are you saying we had a lack of protests whilst being at Sixfields?
