DKE did really well at left back when Lewis Page went off injured last week. Got an incredible leap too

Once he is back to fitness he will do well with Reid in front of him at LM I think.
i'm happy to let Haynes/DKE fill the left back void until Stokes is ready if that means funds are freed up for a right winger/striker/Willis replacement if needed etc.

I have to say...I wasn't enamoured with TM when he arrived (as I've said many times) although for a short period, he almost won me over.

However, RS in the first few weeks has got me more interested already. He's making his mark on the squad straight away and I'm pleased with the way we're not doing business in the last 2 hours of the window, as per the past few windows.

Also pleased that we seem to be turning down offers as well. I think it's inevitable that Stevenson will go but at least we're not rolling over and accepting the first offer.

It would be nice if it was one of Stevenson or Willis/Harries that goes, rather than every player who receives interest being sold.

Hopefully we're getting all our business done early in the window so there's none of that late window desperation like when that Villa kid didn't come so we just took Andre Wright in the ultimate 'you'll do' move.

Speaking of which Hepburn-Murpy is supposedly available again after refusing to sign a new Villa contract. Could be worth another go (on loan that is)

I hope he turns out to be better than the last RB, otherwise I may be forced to comment:
"He's just a Sterry type, things don't look very tight, we'll concede again tonight and lalalalalalalalala". Or something like that.

exactly 1 bad summer where manager tried high risk to get us promoted(goping for championship players) and it didnt work out. doesnt mean RS has come in and changed the fac eof the club lol

To counter that; he only had two summers. One could be deemed a success, one an absolute failure. If you include the third window he was involved in (last January), his record is appealing.

ANDRE FUCKING WRIGHT!!!!!

Yawn.keep tlakikg bout mowbray

Ill focus on fokey who just signed btw

1) That was the first time I mentioned TM post departure.

2) I already made my point about Foley earlier in the thread.

3) Any response to the point I raised?

So a pretty poor post from you really. You're usually ok as well.

Hopefully get another 4 players in for the starting 11 and we should be strong enough to get out of trouble

Yes, Maddison got sold but was actually still here along with a few other bodies Mowbray brought in.

Who else is falling a little bit in love with Slade

He has made a couple of transfers who have played one game. No complaints so far but far far too early to judge. Following City since the sixties I have seen plenty of false dawns. I await the needless hysteria when the team have an inevitable slump. People will be as quick to say sack him as they are to Say how brilliant he is.

I hope he succeeds, I hope the fans give him the time he will require. It won't always be a smooth transition.

In terms of permenant signings Mowbray made I think 1 decent one in Vincelot over two seasons. The rest have been average at best or poor.

Other than him He wouldn't look at lower league players and targeted players who were of premier league stock if they meant aging dinasaurs or young up and coming players. Without Armstrong and Murphy last season we'd have been down.

I actually just think he was lazy and not interested.

Pathetic waste of space in the end.
