If we did reach the final I still wouldn't go. Never been to a single game of this comp in it's various guises/titles.
I've stated the reasons many times before. However, I've softened my stance on it's 'worthiness' if only for the benefit of our young supporters (by that I mean anybody 30 and under)
It's a final being played at Wembley but for me not a 'Wembley final'. More like a great family day out at Alton towers.

Intrinsically not interested in any of it - it just feels like an embarrassment to be associated with it. If I go it will be for the day out.

I have not been to a check a trade game or paint pot game not interested. I have a season ticket and go to selected away games and FA Cup games. I am booking a holiday and will be away on 2nd April. Could not care less if we win Micky mouse trophy or not.
Want shit owners gone, and will settle for regular mid table championship finish with occasional push for play offs. Not a lot to ask, but looks like a pipe dream at the moment. SISU OUT

Completely agree. Like I said last night l, all I have ever seen is relegation and disappointment, so to have something to celebrate, something to get excited about and to be proud of would be a fantastic feeling.
Yes it's not a prestigious cup, but what else are we realistically going to win with our current situation?
The chance to watch your team play at Wembley may literally be once in a lifetime. If the thought of cheering on your team with thousands of other fans doesn't excite you, I'm not sure what will.

Well yes, exactly. We are a League One club. It is impossible for us to win the FA Cup and impossible for us to win the League Cup.
This is the only cup we have any chance in, any chance whatsoever. This cup was created for teams in the bottom two divisions. We are in on of those two bottom divisions. This season the league have tainted that by allowing U23 teams in, but it is the ONLY cup we can win.
I don't get it.

Playing against Forest, Brum, Villa or Derby in a championship game with something at stake will excite me. But not a micky mouse cup game. Nothing against the people who want to go to these games good luck to them and more power to their elbow, I understand fans have been starved of success. I take my grandson who is 11 , he has had 7 years of crap with only half a season of good football. If we get to the final I will buy him and his dad a ticket, and hope they have a great day.
But I will be in the sun with a cold beer.

Let's calm down a bit we haven't got there yet. I recall the Crewe fiasco and we all thought we were home and dry before that game. I hope we do get to Wembley more for our younger fans,as I was there in 87 but our young supporters have had sod all have they.We were talking about it in the pub before the Bolton game,if we got to the final everyone would want to go as its a day out,in fact arrangements are already being made for the away game at MKDons !

Watching win 5-0 in at Crewe in a season that had real potential meant a good deal to me. Watching City lose 2-0 to Doncaster in 2012 meant even more (though not quite so much as 2001). Ties in the FA Cup and EFL mean something to me (though much less than they used to since the FA and Man Utd colluded to devalue the FA Cup). The CT means nothing (to me, Vienna) - I can't change that. But I wish you all a great a day out at Wembley. PUSB.

I have enjoyed the cup so far, format is shit but took our minds off the league. People need to drop their expectations as this is really one of two possible routes to Wembley the other being playoff but clearly not this season. I am cautiously excited but we have been let down too many times to dream of the capital just yet

Not the coach, but CCFC have given tickets out to students and school kids for years. When I was teaching in Cov we used to joke we'd use them as a punishment.
