Good luck to him, I hope he takes Venus with him
And Turnbull and Ghadzev.
The Coventry curse strikes again, join us as a reasonably respected manager and your next job will always be a lower one- Chesterfield are a small club irrespective of their current league position compared to oursRather Turnbull and Tudgay
Good luck to him.i feel sisu must have let him down for such a poor run of results.
I wouldn't class managing Wales or Scotland as a step up in all honesty! The Coventry curse strikes again, join us as a reasonably respected manager and your next job will always be a lower one- Chesterfield are a small club irrespective of their current league position compared to ours
Elvis - fleetwood and out
Robbins - Huddersfield was a step up, Scunny a step down
Thorne - Kidderminster and ?
AB - Cobblers
CC - Wales national job possibly an exception alongside Wee gordon
Dowie - didn't really manage again
Micky - Port Vale
Reid - abroad & Argyle
and the list goes on will Slade defy this - I doubt it

Neither Coleman nor Strachan managed us in 2017! Strachan managed us in the Premier League and Coleman had probably our best squad from our Championship days! Are you for real? from managing Coventry City 2017? its a bloody quantum leap, its from earth to the sun.......
The argument that Coventry city at any time is a more prestigious job than Wales or Scotland is frankly ridiculous. I would accept the argument that in the Premier league its a full time post that is a lot more hands on and maybe even a bigger salary but for a Welshman or a Scotsman or indeed any national team boss it is an aspiration that exceeds Coventry City.Neither Coleman nor Strachan managed us in 2017! No axe to grind here, a good footballing, honest and decent man and I wish him good luck.
It didn't work out here, but gave me some of the most exciting times in years as a City fan when we were top of the league last Christmas. Sure he is ultimately culpable in many ways for that failure too, but it was a good time being a City fan for a while. He didn't hang around for a pay off when others might and that says a lot about his integrity.
Rather Turnbull and Tudgay
Coleman was abysmal! Couldn't manage a piss up in a brewery and yet he has had success as Wales manager. Did he also not fail dramatically in Spain?
Anyways for me, it goes to show that International management is far easier than the weekly slug of the leagues for sure. After all you pick the best and most obvious 11 from a bevy of players as your platform. That's why I can never understand why England keep failing other than there is too much back room interference and additional pressure brought about by the press and hierarchy that are so unwelcome. Had Clough been appointed all those years ago we would have won the world cup again.
That's easy for you to say!Whats thenfucking point of leaving us theb tony?
