Right, well the reason I ask has nothing to do with the Butts, other than as a comparison.
I mentioned this piece of land before. It is next door to the fire station on Radford Road. Used to be a British Gas place if I recall correctly. Between the Holyhead Road and Radford Road junctions of the ring road. Same side of the road as the fire station, so sort of opposite Wickes.
The land is now up for sale. Sign up today. 5.52 acres.
Mario? Don't remember that.Just looked at that space, the old Mario building?
Before anybody starts, Im by no means saying these places will be 100% where a stadium is. I am just randomly using that tool.

Used to City Factors I think.
Deserves a like for the Winchester comment :happy:Not sure on parameters, but here's a picture:
Definitely room for substantial expansion if it was done smartly.

Plan:
1) Get SISU out.
2) Make friends with CRFC again.
3) Turn that into a 25,000.
4) Go to The Winchester and wait for it all to blow over.
If that's when the architects dress it up to look at its best, just how dull will it look when built!just a FYI Aberdeen have submitted plans for a 20,000 seater stadium and attached academy / training total cost is £40m with about £10m seemingly allocated on the training facilities.

Would be tricky due to the shape of the site rather than the total size. I have a feeling that there's something on site that needs to stay there as well.Right, well the reason I ask has nothing to do with the Butts, other than as a comparison.

Always thought that would be a decent location.By J2 of the M6
Can't believe there are people still talking about a new stadium.:emoji_thinking:Thats a good shout for a potential new ground - not sure what's happening to the old fire station plot but proximity to city centre and railway station is great could help regenerate the canal basin also
And you believe him?????????????

Not the best shape for sure. Nice place for the academy though.Gigg Lane is 4.59 acres But obviously that's in a perfect rectangle.
Meadow Lane (20k) is about 5.75 acres.
Best I can get in a rectangle on the site Otis is on about is about 3 acres.
Fisher always said minimum 60 acres
That was to include a training base and Academy as well as commercial outlets as i recall.Fisher always said minimum 60 acres
