Well said dan the man and when this takeover happens and sisu are no more and that is what the boycott is all about ridding us of sisu anything else is a bonus, you can walk a little taller than some.
Hi ER,
If Hoffman steps forward in the next few days as is being suggested (Tweets, posts and all), then let us hope it is a credible bid backed with a proper business plan to move us forward - not another club for a £1 bid. If Hoffman makes a sensible bid and has a credible business plan, then it is a win / win all round - SISU get a chunk of their cash back; we get our club back - but Hoffman will be expected to deliver on his promises (be in no doubt of that - no easy rides here).
If however Hoffman is not going to step forward in the next few days as is being suggested (Tweets, posts and all), then he starts to lose credibility in the eyes of many many supporters who quite frankly are getting tired of the "will he / won't he pantomine". We have more important issues in hand on the back of 2 decent results and a real fight back, and we do not want a drawn out take over affair that will ultimately undermine the team - boycotts, disharmony etc. We all need to get behind the team in the fight against relegation - and that means a "truce" with SISU.
As I said previously (and I stand by it), either Hoffman steps forward in the next week or so looking to wrap this up by end of January or so, or he goes away until the end of the season and resurrects any interest in the Summer.
What none of us want are our hopes and desires being toyed with by the likes of Keys et al constantly feeding us false information - remember, Keys "reliably" informed us that 23rd December was the day we could expect news, and guess what....nothing, other than more tweets - hang on, won't be long, things going on - backed by the "we know something you do not" crowd. We deserve better - so quite simply my personal message to Hoffman is get on with it or shut up - simples.
Caveat - The above is my opinion. It may differ from yours ER. I am however a Coventry fan - like you. I want change but not at any cost. I know nothing of Hoffman or his bid so I do not blindly accept it is what it is cos others say so. I am not disloyal. I am not a Villa fan. I am not a board member. I am not Godiva. I am not...well just about anything else you would care to throw at me. I accept my opinion is no more important than your opinion. I indeed respect your opinion even though it may differ to mine...I hope by this caveat you get my point:thinking about:
