So the Wycombe game is on sky. What's the odds on further disruption? Quite high I think.......

Other clubs are getting sick and fed up with it. We're looking to other clubs for support and all were doing is turning them against us. Like throwing tennis balls at sheff utd player taking throw ins. Blowing whistles when Bolton are attacking to put them off (even if it did back fire). Sounds like their keeper today wasn't far from being hit with a flare!! Fucking numpties.
They'll all being crying on here and fb soon cuz no other clubs give a shit about us!

Other clubs don't care about us. They may show a bit of sympathy occasionally when we about to play them but when it comes down to it they don't give a damn. Like we actually care about other clubs.

Is there a possibility the clubs who have loan players at CCFC could take their players back under the excuse it's too dangerous to expose them to flares?

So what, have any set the world on fire.
We are down, just play the kids as that's all we have next season.

I get what you're saying.

However, if the fans boycott home games, then get fines for running on the pitches at aways games - there surely is only a finite about of cash CCFC has - i.e. Eventually SISU will have to put cash in. We have very few assets in terms of players left to sell.

So in summary - the short term you're correct , but medium to long term this will surely hit SISU. Or am I missing something here?

By the way I'm not condoning the actions today.

no, they will cut costs to cover it won't they?

Good evening gentlemen. I have the utmost sympathy for your predicament, and the situation that you find yourselves in. We ourselves, came very close to going out of business 14 months ago. But, we never resorted to what I witnessed today. What you have achieved with, ripping down hoardings, smoke bombs, pitch invasions, and disruption of play, is counter productive. You will lose the support of other fans with these antics. And that will not benefit you at all.
I recall Charlton fans lobbing tennis balls on the pitch recently, it was a peaceful disruption. And I dont think that it alienated them too much with other football fans.
By all means, keep up the protest. but dont keep invading the pitch. If it was an attempt to get the game abandoned, it quite simply didnt work.

You don't care about us, never have done all you want is three points you got them so not get lost.

I would say that a high court winding up order, by revenues and customs, on the 30th of november at the Royal Courts of Justice, The Strand, was pretty serious.
And I was present to see it dismissed, at the last minute. Dont get me wrong, I am not here to gloat, far from it, but you lads have done yourselves no favours today.

And I was there like thousands of others, putting a £20 note in your fucking bucket shake at the fa cup game last season mate. Helping to keep your club afloat by paying the staffs wages when the FA paid the payers. I didn't go making a big thing about it as no other supporters did. Short memories though.

People do realise this isn't going to stop don't you? The fans are going to get worse, more games will be disrupted, this is only the beginning... of the end.

I hope the back pats are worth it then.

Why not channel the energy actually to SISU?

I will, years of mismanagement culminating in the last 9 years under a faceless hedge fund, 47 years without a top 6 finish, another relegation on the cards, you try it and see if you're still up on your high horse you boring c**t.
As i have stated, I am not on "my high horse", but questioning your lads actions today.
And I think that you will find that we also have had years of mismanagement, 47 years without a top six finish, and given our current run of form, are also facing relegation.

If we're going to get out of the situation we're in, we need the full support of other teams and (although not likely) the FA/football league!
All we'll get at this rate is fines and point deductions from the league and hatred from other fans!

The FA and Football League really helped us out by giving Sisu the golden share back...

Would you damage your own car? Would you wreck your own home? If not then why damage your own club?
Protest against the owners, hurt them, but don't destroy your own club.
We need to fight another way, a way that consistently hurts the owners but not CCFC.
They don't give a shit because nothing is hurting them and any damage is to our club. Not clever or productive!

Looks to me like a failure of Intelligence and planning by NTFC safety and Stewarding, plus the local. Constabulary.
I can't believe anyone is surprised, this being our first visit back to scene of Fishers and Seppalas crime against our fanbase and Club.
Couple that to the current mood of pretty much the whole fanbase regards the Ownership, current form and Fishers running of the Club.
The genie is out of the bottle from the SU game a few weeks ago and repetition is very likely.
The only surprise to me is its taken this long.
Desperate times.

you were promoted just last season and have 6 promotions in that time, maybe if you spent more time concerned with your club you would know that. Good luck with staying up!

Just to clear this up.....SISU are the parent company of CCFC. So if it losses money then they don't make money. All of what the fans are doing will eat away at any potential profits. Though CCFC will have to break even so that means selling players to cover the costs of fines or lowering attendances.

So the stupid protest are just counter productive.

Sent from my LG-H850 using Tapatalk

You think they wouldn't be selling players anyway. What were the protests like when Maddison went last year?

Funny thing is the old Bill came to talk to us on the Hill and asked us if we had any vuvuzelas or tennis balls.
Don't know where they got their intelligence from but they need to take stock and start again.
The officer said if we blow vuvuzalas the game would be abandoned.
Shit need to ebay a shit load.

for blowing a vuvuzala outside the ground? Fucking hell, that's ridiculous, though in keeping with the general tone of the day.

As a form of protest the large pitch ( well behaved) invasion against Sheffield largely gained positive press. People got on the pitch, made the point and left. The pigs on the pitch at Charlton, again disrupted the game but again garnered sympathetic press for Charlton and us. Sadly the odd bloke with a flare in his hand does not have the same effect it merely irritates the vast majority and makes us look like a bunch of thugs to be honest and does not paint us in a very good light.

I was pointing out that SISU won't be paying fines and CCFC will. Sad world if that is a "minority" opinion isn't it when it is exactly what will happen.
Tim Fisher could just pay for any fines out the of gate receipts from the Wycombe game !!! :wacky:

I want the owners gone but I want coventry city to survive and I don't have all the answers but I can't see how today's events have weakened the owners but I can see how they have harmed Coventry City.
I can't separate sisu from Coventry city any more. Taking the club to the point of winding up because it is losing sisu money, and then hopefully reinventing it as some sort of fan owned club is the only way forward I can envisage.

Yes. We've made our point. We can do pitch invasions and we can disrupt games. Ok. Now we are on Sky again, don't ffs do the same again. We will lose support and only put the initiative into SISU's court as the poor victims.

Do something visual and clever, but don't stop the game.

I dont agree with whats gone on but Sisu wont be paying fines but CCFC? Fook sake Sisu own CCFC its their baby and its their fault we find ourselves in. No more apologists please, they own us they take the profits from us as they please, they refuse to listen to offers for the club but the furry gentle little kittens as Sisu are immune to it are they?
Jesus wept Sisu and CCFC are one or are they stealing their interest charges and any other money they make like Ryton?
I really do worry sometimes about peoples logic.:banghead:
Dont worry we are bottom of the 3rd division but its our fault...........:emoji_see_no_evil:
Amen to that. It is the end and so the more the merior ChristOAB. Good shout.

Shut up Nick. You can sit on your arse whilst your heroes go straight down the tunnel. "It's not helping the players" they will lose anyway and not come over and applaud the fans. You'd love it if Sisu stayed for another 10 years. Joker
What a baseless stupid post, try to engage your brain and come up with a cognitive plan that will get maximum publicity for the criminal way sisu and js are killing off our club, something that doesn't incur fines or points deduction for the club or alienate us to other fans and the fa, oh and divide our own fans at a time we desperately need to be united. So to sum up, stop spouting division and come up with a decent idea

Nope, it is to be factually correct. It isn't speaking on behalf of people on here, people do that themselves.

Again, is it not worrying that it is in the "minority" to say that it will be CCFC paying the fines and not SISU? It just shows how misinformed our fans are.
Does it really matter what account it comes out of Nick CCFC are ultimately owned by SISU, either by one way or the other. Ultimately it all comes from the same pot.
