lets say we sell Willis today and Stevenson that's probably 1-1.5 million (guess work)
Let's also say they sell harries and Haynes

Now let's say Wilson does infact move from Bournemouth to west brom and SISU pocket 2-3 million from that deal .

Besides ryton , what else is there for them to make money on ???

We don't have any valuable academy players coming through now .

Feels very much like a push for their end game , they will take the 5-7 million from players and ryton and run , well hopefully anyway.

Genuinely can't see a single reason after this transfer window potentially , for them to stay

The reason would be that the funds will parachute them for any losses going forward - the example you gave would probably allow them another 4 - 5 seasons here.

In the hope of what? A freak promotion with a constantly depleted squad? A cup run with the same depleted squad.

I don't think this is an end game but if you are 8mill up say why continue to run a business that is losing value year on year and whittle away said 8mil?

We probably do have done youngsters coming through but they will be in the first team next year at this rate.

Surely they'd be better to take the money and run for the hills than chance their arm on another 4 years of nothing but dwindling income.

This makes you happy as a customer. Clear to see.

What from that makes it happy?

Probably easier for everybody to get excited that they are going to sell all the players then run though and then be angry again when it doesn't happen though right?

Yeah whatever you say...

Grendel couldn't give two fucks about our situation, you won't find many on here that will disagree.

Surprised you're not busy tracking down all the fans identity's who went on the pitch to help the club "lock them up and ban them for life".

Non-ticket income isn't that much lower in L2, we will lose a load of wages. I'd guess, using figures from my arse, that you're looking at less than £1m a season in transfer income to keep us going at no cost to the owners.

After reading what ChiefDave and OSB were saying about Ryton the other day, I wonder if they won't wait for liquidation to take that. Drop to National League and we can move to the Butts I think (can anyone confirm the Butts is suitable for non-league?).

Best case scenario for them is to sell what we have to finance next season, take us down to National League, at which point the Ricoh deal ends and we have a wider choice of alternative stadia. Then either rinse repeat at new ground, or liquidate and take Ryton.

Not saying this is what will happen, just calibrating worse case scenarios for us.

So our situation is good on his part because he attends? LOL!

Lock them up, can't wait to see your reaction on Saturday then...

Who has said the situation is good? You said he doesn't care about our situation in the slightest, so I said doesn't he still go to games?

Is that you saying the game is going to be messed with on Saturday too? What's happening on Saturday?

Stupid to think it won't be, what's changed since the last game? Add on losing our captain today and whoever else, 2+2= 4.

Ah, sounds great. I'll look forward to people getting excited and thinking they are heros for another game being ruined and achieving absolutely fuck all then.

If we moved to the butts we'd be sharing with Cov rugby, cov bears and cov united men and women's teams. Not going to happen is it?

You do that, i''m sure the people who are more bothered about the club then what a few forum writers think are not that worried either.

Yeah, I'm bothered about my car but I'm not outside trying to smash it up.

At least we know what to expect at the weekend I guess.

You should expect it for the foreseeable future.

Hard to fathom why some don't understand why people are doing what they're doing, not everyone is willing to bend over and be allowed to be shafted. It's that simple. The club has no future with these owners, what do they have to lose?

What about a Nuneaton Town ground share?

Point is, the requirements for a ground get a lot less if we go down next season as well.

Are heroes those who do nothing and hope for the best?
They seem to think so:

Nah, it's like in Iron Man where he is trying to save the white house or something by trying his best to bloke up the white house himself rather than the baddies ;)
