In particular Clive Eakin trying to say to supporters that perhaps SISU should be praised somewhat for NOT selling in the transfer window period. No one was having any of it.
That brings me on to a point that is banged on about on here : that CCFC is completely separate to SISU and that SISU take no money from the football club.
Surely if that's the case then any praise should therefore go to the football club and not SISU .
Or is it that despite the football club trying to keep a clear distinction from its owners, it will be SISU who tell Tim Fisher that players have to be sold (for reasons I can't understand if they take no money) .
Can someone clarify for me as to whether SISU would be involved in moving players on .

They shouldn't be praised for not selling.

Must admit it was a pleasant surprise that players weren't sold and bids were rejected. Praise is a bit too far though.

From what I've read it was more Venus dealing with it than Fisher. Don't know how true.

Slade also said people aren't going to come in and take players on the cheap at the start of the window.

I don't think Fisher, nor SISU should have praise for it. The same as I don't think Fisher nor SISU should get praise for when Armstrong etc came in.

Another reason they sell young players is wages. Up and coming would be stars with value commend higher wages

Correct. Should also be said as presenter, especially at the BBC Eakin has to present alternative views, creates debate for one thing, doesn't mean he supports those views, which is why that Pete from Styvchall is on regular with what I think are strange one eyed opinions but he is entitled to those opinions and express them. I just listen and treat his few minutes on air as a bit of comedy.

Perhaps a reason they were not sold is that they are not jewels simply very average players worth very little at the moment.

This is a good point. For me Sisu's involvement ends where the club proper begins. They are responsible for overall strategy, investment and appointing the board and there they have shown themselves incompetent. What we do under those constraints is down to the manager.

Well the players know where they stand now and nothing is going to happen until June . So they can get their heads out of their arses and start playing with and for each other and put themselves in the shop windows. Simples!

I notice Eakin doesn't get into a debate with the guy anymore. He listens to his clap trap then says "thanks for the call" and moves on.

In all seriousness he isn't taken serious and is becoming a bit of a comic figure. Nobody likes to see another person in life being ridiculed for there views but this chap seems to enjoy setting himself up which is a bit..... strange?
