I think in all fairness we've set up 4141.
Foley can play a holding role and RS don't trust anyone else to do it.
Reid has been dropped and this team has no ball carrier with pace so he's used K Thomas in that role.

Or in Foley's case he wants him in a position where he's out the way

I agree about Haynes who's done well in the forward positions but then you lose the transition form 4141 to a attacking 433. And he's opted to have a holding midfielder in foley as rose and Reilly haven't done that to isolate goals like Oldham's 3rd.
