I disagree to a point. The EFL are on show and people (well, the media, are watching). It is about the timing though - not constant or random times during the game. Same for Sisu - I agree that it is of course primarily about the fans and supporting the team

I think we would gain more respect by declaring a short truce in the interest of getting behind CCFC to actually win something.

The battle can continue after we have celebrated winning the trophy.

Wouldn't be the first thing, would it?

No it wouldn't. The other one is how people who self proclaimed have morals and strong spines are suddenly forgetting all about them and making themselves look "spineless" (Their words for people who "fund SISU" by going to games)

No good chanting sisu out or throwing pigs and tennis balls on the pitch, flares etc, protests should be aimed at the architects of our demise Tim Fisher and Joy Sepalla in that order. I would dig as much crap on them especially Fisher.

Loads of flares and a mass Wembley pitch invasion .Thats the way to do it ..Constant singing SISU OUT...
Massive fine for Sisu and coverage all over the world..
I personally don`t give a shit about results any more ,I just want Sisu to fuck off and leave this Club and City aloan.

I'm exactly the same, in all honesty I don't give a shit about the result on April 2nd, going as it may be our last ever big away day following the club we have all grew up loving.

Singing SISU out at the one time we get a chance to win something seems a bit strange. Losing at home and being confirmed as relegated would be the time to show displeasure- not at Wembley when we might actually win something.
The one competition we entered this season as a professional football club that we could and should
Be doing our upmost to make progress in is league 1, FA and League cups are well beyond us.
On the day we run out at Wembley, our relegation to league 2 is almost certain to have already been
Confirmed, the day out I get, but seriously aspiring to win it in the current circumstances, I don't,
In a perverse sort of way (for a club of our stature) winning this competition in its current guise almost
Rubber stamps our failure, it's a comp for also-rans and under 21 teams. The result is irelavent.

I'll only say that if we lose.

A good time to point out the failure of SISU would be on the day relegation is confirmed. That would highlight the failure, whereas winning a trophy doesn't exactly highlight failure.
Are you Tim Fisher or another one of the admins "friends".
Get yourself in the picture of what's really happening..........but maybe your remit doesn't permit that.
Tell you what..... If you don't want to be included in any anti Sisu stuff at Wembley.......JUST DONT JOIN IN.
It really is that simple.

Will people genuinely celebrate if we win?
I'm not talking about immediate post match, I'm talking will fans really feel a sense of pride In the
clubs achievement, will we look back in years to come and reminisce about the day we won the
Checkatrade Trophy.
This club is undoubtedly being suffocated, we have been gifted a day on the biggest stage in
world football, I would Never advocate violence or law breaking, but to let the day pass without
Letting everyone know exactly how we feel about our' and our clubs treatment,
would be absurd IMHO

I would celebrate the win, but I am not at all sure of the lap of honour or going overboard with it.

We get relegated, the season will be an unmitigated disaster, EFL Trophy win or not.

As another disastrous season under the stewardship of SISU enters the final stretch, and CCFC
Limply dawdles towards another relegation, there's something 'not happening' that puzzles me.
With some fans doing NOPM and many more walking away ang giving up due to the inability or
Dogged refusal of the owners to do anything to try and address the ongoing decline of the club.
Some admirably have tried to push the clubs plight under people's noses by means of protests,
And the media in general have been sympathetic and shown willingness to highlight the cause.

The protests for the most part (it has to be said) have been a little disjointed and unorganised,
Indeed the one that came across best and stoked the most interest was actually another clubs
Fans with us hanging onto their shirt tails. The live game against S Utd was a good effort but
Never really enough numbers to be taken seriously.

Now out of the blue "Inexplicably" fate has dealt the supporters of this ailing old football club
A hand they could never have dreamed of, but how do we play the cards. It's a chance for
The supporters of this historic club to come together and show 'not only SISU' but the FA and
The EFL just how badly we've been let down by their cumulative and individual inadequacys.

I'm not talking open hostilitys or violence, just lots of noise and flag waving, let them know
Exactly how we feel, maybe a sit-in by 25.000 city fans at the end in Wembley.
It's to good an opportunity to miss, still enjoy and saviour the day as I'm sure most are
Intending to do, but just do it with a sense of purpose.
It may well prove to be our last chance. PUSB

Bet you wish you hadn't bothered now mate...... Good thread anyway

Ha, friends? Have a read through his post history. Don't think you could be any further away.... No change there then.

What's his remit, out of interest as his post history is very anti sisu.

FFS, regardless if it's a tin-pot competition (you can only win what you're entered into), regardless if u-23 teams were in the cup this year (they're not in the final...), regardless of the fact that we might be relegated (we will), can we not just fucking enjoy the day out at Wembley?

For one day, I won't give a shit about SISU, the EFL, PL u-23 teams....the best way to give ourselves coverage is to have a cracking day out, show our Sky Blue colours and cheer the team on. Let's enjoy it. Talk of flares and pitch invasions is bollocks and won't do us any favours. I think a mass chant of 'we want SISU out on 9 mins' would be great and then we should just enjoy the day out.

I can't believe some are banging on as of they're not bothered about it. Not many fans can say they've seen their team at Wembley. I know almost every club has been there but not every fan can say they've seen their team there.

If you're going, have a beer, get behind the team and enjoy yourself.

The mindset of some of our fans fucking boggles me sometimes...

Why are you looking for support Mr arseNick
I am absolutely anti Sisu like the majority of all true Sky Blues. But I'm also totally Sky Blue, as I have been since 1962.
But I'm not running a web site that relies on click power to bring in the £'s to help your income ( don't forget to include your earnings in you tax return) I'm just a fan with opinions that doesn't agree with your pro Sisu supporting feelings.
YOU ....arseNICK have no answer to the truth other than to plough through files to source whatever you think gives your Pro SISU beliefs some credence.
I will always stand by what I have said and never falter from my views on why we are, where we are. YOU on the other hand just want to keep this site rolling along for you own gain........whatever the means available.
I'm happy for anyone to look at my post history - absolutely no problem -
But what a waste of time when there are other matters of far greater importance. You really do let yourself down don't you. PRAT.

So it makes him Tim Fishers mate because of one post, even though he is quite clearly very anti sisu.

Top logic, maybe people should get half an idea what they are talking about then?

I'm not pro sisu am I?

What's your beef anyway? You seem to have taken a bit of an issue recently. Is it because I comment about the telegraph and it touches a nerve?

I wasn't looking to anybody for support, I hardly agree with mart on anything, I was just pointing out you couldn't be more wrong about him.

I just pointed that out, you seem to have taken a bit of an issue that you were wrong with your silly tim fishers friend comments.

Why on earth should it touch a nerve what is reported in the Telegraph......
