Calista- As much as I want to blame everything on the owners I believe that you are pointing the finger in the wrong direction on this occasion.
By the way I am in the same situation as you regarding tickets but surely this is not about customer relations as they have prioritized their loyal fans and their friends and families? It is correct that the deserving season ticket holders that are sorted out first.
You are right that the occasional match goers and the lapsed are at the back of the queue and may miss out but that is the chance you take if you are not a season ticket holder. You can't blame the owners for not focusing on those that don't go. By definition somebody who has wavered is not a real supporter.
Also wait until we know what the ticket situation is come early March as there may be enough tickets to go around and then nobody can complain.
I have not been a ST holder for many years, and to a great degree have become disenchanted over the last few years. I still attend a few games a season, mostly away. I take issue with being labelled as being "not a real supporter"
If I don't get a ticket then so be it, but I don't have to prove my love for my club to anybody
