online already struggling (5 Viewers)

Got timed out a couple of times after selecting seats as the reassign was taking ages, although another failed attempt was partly because my boss, rather selfishly, wanted me to do some work. Decided to break it into 2 orders, one for 18 tickets where the tracked post cost £4.78, one for 5 tickets where the tracked post cost £9.56, even the standard post was over £5. Anyone else had this problem with the post charges?

To be fair to me I was only logged on, on my phone, my tablet and then on Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer on my laptop.

Anyone he went for more than that needs hauling over the coals.

27 of the 41 blocks are showing limited availability
if they all go - there are another 25 or so top tier blocks not even available for sale yet
so most of the good seats will go but plenty of availability yet

limited really is odd seats, so guessing we have sold about 15000 so far

Yes, we booked 11 tickets with our 2 STs; 2 for us, 5 for my nephew and 4 for a friend, in 3 separate parts of ground;
and was charged £14.34 tracked postage. Assume each batch was £4.78 (as was originally quoted).

Thanks, that does make sense then, as the 18 were all the same block, and the other 5 were 2 different blocks. Not sure why the postage should be more though, surely each order should count as 1 order. Not a big deal, but just seems a bit odd.

8 minutes - 10 tickets booked from 3 season tickets on my account no worse than buying tickets for cold play

I booked 36, some in different parts of the ground, and was charged just the one postage fee. Not sure why you have paid 3 times. You did do it on one payment?

I bought 5 tickets this morning (in three different blocks, but as a single order) to be delivered to a single address and was somehow charged £14.34 for tracked postage. When I questioned this with Ticketmaster - [email protected] - they admitted that there is a glitch in the system and that the correct charge was in fact £4.78. I phoned 0333 321 3134 and was issued with a refund.

No, it was 2 orders, but seems to be an error in charging for the second order, I'll ring ticket master tomorrow, from work obviously, not paying for phone calls as well.

Sitting in the upper tier you are closer to the moon than the pitch.

You didn't have a fucking season ticket until five minutes ago!

muahahahhaahah thats what makes it funny for me

tbh i saw this coming, i was adamanet 6 tickets per ST too much and i agree it is. thats why i had to make plans to not risk a wembley ticket.

I am so glad we didn't have the Internet in 1987. Imagine what the furore would have been like then? And how many threads on the same subject would there have been?

you are surprised there is more demand for a wembley final than for a game vs u23 in earlier round?

No, I am saying I could have had 6 as a ST holder then too and it has been the same all the way through.

Nothing to do with demand, it's the moaning about there being 6 available.

yeah it didnt bother anyone then. final is not same type of game so they probably should have revised it down to 4.

but i dont care now quite frankly lol

Yes, it's only fair they keep the 6 per ST holder all the way through.

In fact they should have given them for free to the people who went to Swansea!

fine line between fair and smart

you cant please all the people all the time.

either way i dont think you can really hate on the club for this one

I think the club have been quite smart with this. I honestly believe that all of the 'genuine' fan base will get a ticket via redistribution from season ticket holders. I also can't see a black market developing, so mostly it will be done at face value. Those who think that they can make a profit from this are sadly mistaken and will end up out of pocket of they try to exploit the situation.

You have started me off now!
Phoned the 0333 number but they said this tracked postage was the correct price.
Now I have sent an e-mail saying how can you treat it as 3 separate orders but only give me one order number for the whole thing. All seats were booked at the same time, on one credit card and all to be sent to one address.
Will let you know what reply I get.
PUSB.
