The silence is deafening from our so called chairman. Any other club on a run of defeats and bottom of the league looking relegation in the face and the chairman would be speaking out either supporting manager and saying what the club will do to turn it around or giving the manager the dreaded vote of confidence.

The silence from our part time chairman sums up the whole sorry mess and fuck up that our owners have made of running our club. Time to go fisher and at least get someone who is willing to speak to the fans and show a bit of passion for the club

I really do believe that this man is actually on a mission for whatever reason to just take us as low as he can. Whether it was the abuse he took or he has lost money for not achieving the purchase of the Ricoh I do not know...but there surely can be no other logical reason behind his behaviour and actions.
CCFC/Sisu pay him handsomely and it looks as though,as long as he doesn't actually lose Sisu money nor require them to invest then I think he and they are positively happy to make Coventry City suffer and drop to the depths. Maybe as a Sheffield Wednesday fan he harbors some sort of grudge but whatever the reason he is must be WANTING to take us to the depths.
It has been said here and many other places, in any other club he would have been sacked ages ago and if he did want to achieve something positive for the club he would surely have been shamed into resigning by now. NO ONE is that thick skinned nor oblivious to how useless his tenure has been. It can only be that he WANTS City to fail.

So he can get us on the cheap???????

He also said we couldnt afford to get promoted to the championship. What chairman would ever think that for a football club. Im with you hopes that there is something more underlying with fisher that he has something personal and a hatred for the club

Surely a random thread just after the fans meeting with Fisher has been announced?

to be honest Nick it's too little too late. I agree with you that the trust has done well to get it on and hopefully we'll get some answers but apart from a couple of waste of time interviews on talksport we've heard nothing since the new year which is frankly disgraceful given what's gone on.
After last night and Saturday he should have broke cover today to speak to the support.

Just thought it was random timing to moan about silence :)

I can see your point.
I feel a bit stupid wanting to hear from fisher to be honest because everything he says turns out to be a lie.

I doubt it will really mean much, but it's a good chance for him to be quizzed at least.

Hopefully they won't let him drift off with Dave who has asked why we haven't signed chris Kirkland or something as he will play on that all night if allowed.

yep, needs some proper searching questions and he needs to be pressed for proper answers rather than his usual politician style skirting round the question.

As much as we all hate the guy, Sisu don't really know who Coventry City are. So they don't know how bad he is at running the football side of things. But they must be happy with the balance sheet. Profits. Fisher probably on a bonus for good work.

Including what he said in his last interview, which was that we’d be hearing a lot more from him from now on! He never delivers on his promises, but on this occasion tbh it’s very welcome.

One question for him ! If he, as a Sheff wed supporter, saw his club being run in this way, with these results, what would he expect or demand of his clubs board of directors! ?

I'm surprised he has agreed to do this. Why would he? He is going to go into a room where everyone present looks on him with contempt. What will he get out of it? Is it just sheer arrogance?

He has been saying for months he would do one.

One of the quotes from the local radio interview was to judge him after Christmas when the new manager has brought in new players.

Couldnt afford to be in the championship maybe the same applies for league 2 because he can now reveal his plans to play in a 2000 seater stadium because that wont look so bad at being half full

What we need is a guest interviewer someone like that thick skinned oaf Piers Morgan... just line up the questions for him and he will go in all guns blazing

They still need to know a bit about the topic though, that's the problem with people like Jim White who just see a headline and go from that. It makes it easy for Fisher.

He could have some briefing notes prior to the interview

They are still only as good as the notes though, they would really need to research both angles properly.

Somebody goes in with a list given to them by somebody like the PSB group they are torn apart, so ideally they need to have a good idea of it all.
