So, who do we think are the Robins type players here (11 Viewers)

And who are most definitely not?

From what I recall he likes his teams well organised, disciplined and hard working, but also does like to play decent football.

Who do you think will get the immediate cold shoulder and be told their future lies elsewhere?

Also, does anybody remember what his record on signings was like? I remember he brought in Moussa and Leon Clarke but have probably conveniently forgotten any shockers he signed.

I don't suppose Robins will be seeking any contract free players will he now.

Surely he's been told to come in and plan for next season hasn't he?

If he went out and got an experienced out of contract keeper tomorrow it wouldn't surprise me. Surely now we have someone who realises just how abysmal Lee Burge is. I expect him to be loaned to mount nod reserves for the rest of the season.

I think he will play a 4231

K Thomas as the main man, beavon playing in the number 10. Jones and Reid out wide and maybe Stevenson and bigi holding.
Be interesting to see who he picks in defence and at goalkeeper

He liked to play football, so I imagine players like Bigi and Stevenson will see more game time. Potentially even Ruben.

I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to fit Harries into the team somehow too.

Players like Beavon, Stokes and, to be fair based on recent games, Reilly who put shifts in regardless of opposition, league position, manager etc I'm sure will also be in his thinking.

It will be most interesting to see what he does with Slades signings. Will loans be sent back? Will Clarke/Foley etc still start? Will he favour players who will be here next season over those who won't be, even if there is a difference in quality?

Would be hilarious if Stokes is suddenly fit once Slade has gone.

If I had to guess a Robins team, it'd be:

RCC
DKE Willis Harries Stokes
Reilly Stevenson
G Thomas Beavon Lamerias
K Thomas

Something like that. Sad fact is that it's still not good enough, especially in defence/GK.

Hit the nail on the head there I too think he may opt for a 4231. Maybe this....
-----------------RCC--------------------
--DKE ---Clarke---Turnbull---Haynes--
---------Bigirimana---Reilly------------
--G Thomas--Lameries--K Thomas----
----------------Beavon -----------------
At Scunthorpe he played mainly a 4231 system or a 433 adaptation with 2 deep midfielders.
A few things that does concern me and one is we don't have the fast natural wide players like we had in his time here before, 2nd is he paid a fee for Jordan Clarke to take him to Scunthorpe!!!!

We will find out this summer when ge gets a chance to build. When he checks out our current rubbish I think he may want a complete new team. After the Sisu sell offs.
