To the organisers of the protest today. I thought it was a great success and with more ideas in the pipeline the 'movement' will only grow.

The wristbands and t-shirts were great ideas in particular.

Very peaceful ,respectful and credit to the lads who pulled it off ,only one dodgy chant ,and quickly halted ,great behaaviour from all ,echoed from the security folk

The thugs in Orange jackets didn't bother us at all either. Went off perfectly.

You can just cover up the IN with OUT on your old t-shirts, wristbands and thongs. ;)

How did you know about my thong?! :eek:

But seriously - what was your preferred alternative to SISU at the time? Were we supposed to instantly protest against owners of which we knew nothing?

I didn't have one, but nor was I totally convinced by the "ticking clock" of Joe Elliot and the supposedly no alternative to SISU but liquidation.

Sisu were always a hedge-fund though, and Ranson had been associated with them(and rejected) with several other bids before us, so always going to have to be some doubt about them and their motives.

Won't give anybody support without something to back it up first, and as yet, nothing to support from any potential new owners, if there are any.

There was a 3 and a 7 for sure. Don't think 9 bothered though and 2 was washing his hair.

Fair enough. What would they need to do to get your support?

When SISU turned up and 'saved us' from administration I greeted them with open arms as did 99% of people. They have let us down badly - but we don't have a crystal ball.

I tend to support the club in any way I can - so new owners, players, managers etc get my backing until they let me down. I'm an optimist and can see no reason why Hoffman (a lifelong City fan) would hook us up with new owners who'd screw us over.

Was a good turnout. And Jan was leading the way with his mega-phone.I bought a couple of wristbands and the guy said it cost him £500 to have them made. And that he was hoping to make his money back. Were t-shirts being sold? I was really proud of all who turned up and it made me proud to be a Cov fan! Let's all stick together. PUSB SISU OUT

Haha Very good Lord. I've always maintained though that the way the club was being run was good until SISU bailed on Ranson. Hence my support for them until that point.

I think you know that though and you're on the wind up. So there's your bite. Cherish it.

We are little people and don't have a lot of control on things like this BUT if this "save our city" organisation grows we can certainly become a boil on their arses.

A well organised and respectful protest.
If Sisu remain they will have to have an honest dialogue sooner or later otherwise this will steadily grow.

So 400 then for the start of a high profile campaign, that some claimed, would be going national if not international.

I think what the protest is trying to achieve, making the link between the fans and the club, is a great thing, it just seems the vast majority don't.

Must have been a bugger to be outside and hear you score.

Where do you go from here?

I thought it was spot on!! The coffin was a really good idea - and I think at it's height there was at least 500 there.

I joined in at the beginning and after the final whistle.

Evans chanted Fuck off Sisu, to the pompey chime.Bit naughty i know he should have saved it for a football match. Some people need to get out more!

Its harder than you think to boycott the very thing you look forward to,and love to do every other weekend .But i'd say its worth it in the longrun,if we can help the inept crew at the helm pass on the batton ,meeting @ Hen Lane next thursday 8.00pm for next move

Cheers Spagbol ;) T'was myself and Ginetta. Sucked not watching City - but losing made it easier.

To Hackney and the others criticizing the protest - it was perfect. The numbers were good, it was peaceful and respectful, the media turned up so we'll be on TV and in the papers - just perfect.

The idea isn't to break the Guinness world record for numbers at a protest - it's to humiliate SISU in the media so they bail out; and we're doing a great job.

We'll get these parasites out of our club, and when we do Jan and anyone else doing their bit will be very proud.

They'll never be a big deal made in the media, local or national. National because we're not in the Sky Sports Premier League and Local cause we're not from Birmingham or the black country.

You haven't seen the articles by national newspapers then - or seen skysports news mentioning it several times, or Gillette Soccer Saturday's lengthy piece on it Saturday lunchtime then?

This will only gather pace and get bigger too.
