No one is defending Wasps, we are just saying that there is no real evidence to suggest this a problem or not for CCFC or Wasps.
It may be part of normal process for sharing the pitch. Who Knows?
One thing is certain it suits Les Reid's agenda to divide the camps.
It doesn't really help CCFC in any future Ricoh deal.
Another paper story based on limited details.
Hopefully both CCFC and Wasps are ignoring it hence no comments.

Not sure if aimed at me as I'm not defending Wasps, but respond to what? If the club have been billed or the fans are to blame?

Can you tell me why Coventry City haven't commented on it?

At this moment in time, the ONLY information we have comes from Les Reid who we all know is anti-ccc & anti-wasps

I pointed out that the pitch was trashed before the pitch invasion.
That I thought this is a sign of times to come as was the stopping of the negotiations.
As, as I have pointed out to you previously that I think Wasps perceive JR2 as a risk and that I feel they won't stop till we drop the legal action or leave.
I was then accused of defending Wasps (not by you).
However as someone apparently defending Wasps I can't answer that question as I think it is true and I think there will be lots of things like this on the horizon.

Well you certainly seem more emotionally involved and are spending far more time on a wasps negativity thread than any match day thread.

You also seem to be throwing pro wasps deflector shields all over the place.

Are you going to be applying this same criteria to CCFC from now on, ie: nothing in the press is true unless confirmed by Venus, Fisher or Sepalla?

Both really, or just any comment on the report. If the story was in any way incorrect, and therefore undeservedly showing Wasps in a bad light, surely you would issue a quick response. Would take a few seconds just to say the story is incorrect.

Oh and regarding the last comment what is my pro Wasps stance?

Is it when I stated that they are suing us over damage to a pitch that already existed.
Or is it when I say they are doing it and not negotiating with us in order to stop SISU taking legal action.
Is it when I say they haven't caused our problems SISU did but they are taking full advantage of it.
Is it when I say I couldn't give a rats ass about Wasps.
Is it when I point out that JR2 if successful can actually damage their business.
Is it when I say I can see why the Council welcomed them with open arms?

Anyway as I said to Dave as one of the apparent defenders of Wasps I can't answer his question. As I haven't got a clue if it's true or not. If it is I don't think it is about the cost itself but more about the legal action.

For anyone who's interested it was announced yesterday that for the third time in as many years we're having to build a scouting network that seems to have disappeared twice in three years without anyone noticing.

Now I know that this thread is a welcome distraction for some from the chaos of this crumbling club from within but surely the fact that the very structure of the club keeps repeatedly disappearing into an abyss and has to be reinstated by three of the four last appointed managers is slightly more important than who pays for the hire of some fucking grow lamps and some bastard seeds.

Its been raised in another thread. You could also have written your own thread about it.

This is about the allegation that Wasps are trying to charge the club re the pitch and damage caused by the pitch invasion. If true it grips some peoples shit. As the club are effectively skint it also makes a difference, surely you can understand that.

Yet ten pages of shit about something that is ridiculous to the extreme while anything about the structure of the club is either completely ignored or glossed over by the majority of posters on this thread. You could have started your own thread on the point you raised, which is relevant and a discussion point, but instead try to put over your view above others, start throwing insults about, and fail to grasp that other people don't feel as you do. Best thing for you to be out then isnt it.

Ah pretending to give a shit about the club now is it? Must remember that next time you have some DIY to do instead of going to a game.

I think you still miss the point that people can discuss multiple things, there can be a thread about the pitch and there can be a thread about questions for Tim Fisher for example and they can both be discussed.

The biggest jokers are the ones on this thread bar italia who don't really bother going to games either, pretending to give a shit about the club and all that.

I'll keep an eye out next time somebody says the club should be liquidated for you to tell them they don't care about the club too.

Didn't you try to push a boycott of Wasps on here? You must have thought they were contributing to something to post that.

A: The 2nd one.

Either way there is no way additional charges make sense, Rugby games do 80%+ of the damage, far more than a footie game & that pitch invasion minimal damage.

You probably missed this ....
Evidently no invoice has been sent although a conversation did take place.
Wasps did comment on wanting us to stay and make it our home.
A position they say has not changed since we came back.
They also commented that our latest accounts say we are looking elsewhere.

The bigger issue here is TF/CCFC saying we are moving and Wasps taking it onboard.
We've been here before where we make a statement that we don't really mean but unfortunately decisions are made using this as the reasoning.
