What about Ricky Miller - Dover - 30 goals this season, only the division below league 2, but looks class
Dover said in January that they'd listen to offers this summer for him and want upwards of 250k with a few clubs likely interested which may spark a minor bidding war that should ko any potential interest from ccfc.
Personally I don't think he's worth the punt. A very late developer it seems at nearly 29, having done the non league circuit and released from Luton in the summer 2015. It's clicked for him at Dover last season and this but at 29 you can get players for free who've done it at league two on a free.
Chris Dagnal is available on a free and has scored 9 league goals so far in a poor Crewe side 12 in all competitions, averaging 1 in 3. A proven league two striker.
Marc Richards at Northampton Town's captain a target man at 6ft. Out of contract too, ok he's 34 but doing it weekly still and scored 8 in the league and 11 in all competitions. Career stats are 1 in 4 at league one and better than 1 in 3 at league two.
As previously mentioned Reuben Reid, a big powerful versatile player at Exeter City. Should he want to relocate to the midlands he's available for free. Scored 9 league goals so far and averaging 1 in 3 and a league two career tally of 1 in 3 also.
There's players out there available come the summer that are proven in the league, you just gotta look.
Over to you Mark Robins.....
