I for one can't wait to see the back of them.
I know agree, but you kind of get the feeling that some will as much as get off scott free and go to better clubs, when in reality they don't deserve anything past a place on a League Two team squad anyway.

It would be galling to see them go elsewhere and have a decent season but can you really imagine clubs wanting to sign the players we have?

You would have thought not.

We still have Turnbull with us next year don't we. Can't see many rushing in to offer a fee for him. Can you?

Reid will probably be hard to get rid of too.

Can't say I want either of them here.

They will need to have good agents to even get a league club, players like Finch can only be heading towards non league

If I was a billionaire megalomaniac then I'd offer Turnbull 80k a week to just sit in y house and have me abuse him for being a pansy.

That's one of the worst aspects. A fair few of these players who have consistently underperformed will just dust themselves down, wave goodbye and toddle off to new clubs.
Ya think, like that dosnt happen day in day out with players and managers, its sickening cause its our club and its happening, but its football the way its always been and always will be.

I'm not entirely convinced all the players are so bad. Oh yes they have failed to perform but I place a large portion of that blame on the club being rotten to the core.
A bad manager in Slade compounded the problem and Venus with his "they are not good enough" quote would rip the belief out of many players minds.
Look at Leicester's revival. They looked abject failures after last season, players simply not performing. I don't know what happened there but those same players are now performing again to their strengths. Our players who performed so well under Venus during a 6 game spell have faced a plethora of issues going on behind the scenes. Do you really think they will perform well given the circumstances that have surrounded them? TM came in and gave them belief until we lost a goal scorer. He was hampered and maligned all the way in his efforts to improve the squad in the close season. He knew what was coming and he left with dignity, still refusing to call out the deplorable owners. There you have it, Slade comes in, fails, now MR's with I surmise a remit to either work a quick miracle or build for next season as challengers.
There is a pocket lining Wembley exertion to get through which only prolongs the life of this club under SISU.
I hope the nightmare ends soon.

You can move the furniture around in the house but it still has the same owners

Robins will do well to accomplish anything positive while Sisu still own us
Expect more of the same until they go

I prefer the saying, "You can move shit around the bowl, but it's still shit!" :emoji_stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Overall today very disappointed But not surprised, which has probably the case for most of the season.

May have been a dig by Robins post match re fitness but that hasn't just happened over night; who is to blame? Mowbray? Venus? Slade? The players?

I think since we're 4 managers down the line now, its most likely the latter alongside a lack of discipline and failing to address the issue by the other 3.

Performances haven't been anywhere near what they need to be and we deserve to sit rooted to the bottom of the table. Over the course of the season I don't think there's one thing we can say 'we did this right'.

Too many personnel changes, within the team and out of it (managers and loans - 6 loans was it the first half, none of which stayed beyond January? And how many more since?).

How as a professional outfit we haven't been able to get the recruitment right is beyond me. Every season I expect at least one duff signing, but how many are we on now? Have any of the players turned out even 'alright'?

Lots of work to do in the summer. Wembley aside I'm not even feeling disappointed if I don't see any 'heart' from the players in the games we have left.

Most won't be dropping a division next season; yet the club and the fans will!
Strange post that. If you don't see any heart in the players why would you be going to Sheff Utd?

Fitness is everything in football, if you're not fit you tend to not run so much off the ball, thus creating less space and less chances.
