Your bank details are on any cheque you write so just call your bank and get them to monitor your account for any transactions deemed suspicious. I have a feeling this person will get found out as he seems to have connned a few people and no doubt has done it before.
Best of luck to anyone that's been scammed it's just bad form and many people are hard up and don't need this hassle. All they wanted was a day out that they deserve.

I have been up all night worrying- just wondering what to do first.

Feel for you fella, I'm still hopeful the police track this guy down and we get our money back. Minus the £10 that it'll cost me for the baseball bat that I'll buy to smash him over the head with. There's a lot of evidence out there now. DL, bank details, email address, phone number etc. Surely it can't be that hard for the police to put something together to locate the scumbag.

Thanks mate. Did you contact Action Fraud? Or did you just speak to Mark at the club and gave him the info to pass on to the police?

I was contacted via email by Mark at CCFC and all the evidence was passed to the police. I'd suggest contacting him as well as the more evidence the better chance we have!! His email is [email protected] I think I might give the police a little nudge today to see what they intend to do etc

Aaron Taylor also messaged me, and i replied to him a few hours later saying i was still interested. He replied saying the tickets have now all gone.
In between these messages Rich did warn me to be careful as Aaron has contacted a number of people so it could be a scam.

I thought maybe if he was scamming he would get as many people as possible and not say they were gone. But all evidence is pointing to it being a scam which is such a horrible thing to do. Preying on genuine fans who desperately want tickets is low.

yeah he doesn't answer. Although he did text me back on Monday, saying that his phone had been broken.... and that the tickets had arrived that morning. He said he'd call me in the evening. He didn't.

So he's obviously done it multiple times, as for using someone on here's address is it possible
To get an address off this site.

Sort code will track down his bank....... if its local pop in and ask to speak to there Fraud manager....... if they won`t let you then getting a bit "shouty" can move things on a bit. Banks particularly don`t like getting highlighted on social media such as Twitter.

Then find out where they live & kneecap the twat.

Have you tried doing a search on the mobile number in google?

On my phone so can't check much, but it is strange also he said to somebody else they were all sold.

Surely a scammer would just take as much money as possible?

Unless he thought it was 'coming on top" and just thought it best to cut and run.

it is all a bit weird. I started to think he'd scammed me last week, and only when I got a bit shitty in a text message did he actually reply. So on Monday, I thought it was all ok again, as he said the tickets had only just come through. But then silence again.

It's odd that he didn't just carry on scamming people though. Maybe he just bottled it.
