Or very wise.I think people keep focusing on the "wont deal with SISU" stuff a bit too much, it's clever wording isn't it

What are you alleging? Can't they? The council leader would disagree with that, at a price though.
Why let the facts get in the way of a good rant? And you are showing yourself to be a bigot. What has being from Birmingham got to do with anything?
Are you aware that most people thing that Coventry is a suburb of Birmingham?
Was there any need to bring where he perceived the people to be from into it? Do people perceive Coventry to be a suburb of Birmingham? There is so much wrong with that statement that I'm actually a bit embarrassed for you mate.
If I rented a property at an extortionate rate that left me bankrupt twice and the landlord refused to listen to a reduction But told me I could buy it for 40 years and then gave it to some bloke from London for half the price for 250 years I'd feel like suing.
Fook me I do worry about some people on here.
What are you alleging?
I'm not alleging anything. He said it himself he could help if SISU paid up.

You are right though, it does play into Fisher's hands and hardly helps the council's case if for whatever reason the FL are approached for a move to Sixfields or something. When all the councillor's come out of the woodwork saying "we need to keep CCFC here" then they will just look silly.
Do you mean "Pay up" as in what they actually owe?
If someone is sueing you you don't have any dialogue with them in case they use it in court against you, its just common sense really.I suppose In hindsight you would have prefered the council hadn't even bailed the club out to get the Ricoh completed. We would have had nowhere to play but that doesn't matter as long as you can still hate the council right!
Its simple really all Sisu need to do is drop the legals and then some dialogue can happen.

Please explain why you are embarrassed on my behalf, I hate to be the cause of any distress to you.
How did they discuss a return to the Ricoh? Mediation wasn't it?
If they follow processes, take minutes etc there is no issue.
Well no, because when he said it they didn't owe it.
You completely miss the point, as has clearly contradicted between being able to have influence and then not.
Why and where was the club playing at the time please refresh my memory ?
So SISU didn't owe £1.3m rent then?
Have the legal costs awarded to CCC from JR1 been paid yet?Well no, because when he said it they didn't owe it.

Yes, and where could they be playing if this doesn't get sorted?
It's all well and good the council refusing to talk now, if for some reason the club had to play somewhere else they would be straight in piling on the dramatics about moving clubs etc etc.
I am coming towards the end of legal matters with someone. I have been advised not to talk to the other party in any respect of the case and have been told to let them know if the other side tries to talk to me about it in any way. And it is someone I have a lot of contact with. If you want more information send me a PM.Yes, and where could they be playing if this doesn't get sorted?

I don't know where we will be playing but I don't own the club, so I have no control over this. The council don't own the club either so they also have no control over this.
In your oppinion should Sisu drop JR2 so that this issue of where we are going to play be resolved ?
They are in a corner. Nobody is able or prepared to talk to them whilst legal action is ongoing. Joy won't drop the legal action and she won't put any more money into our club. So it seems like Fisher is either trying to get people to grant them what he wants or wants someone to blame for the predicament that he has guided us towards. Can I ask a possibly naïve question? What subjects are they hoping to mediate on? That is, why is there suddenly a need to mediate?
The fact that CCC sold their share in ACL at a knockdown price to Wasps (accepting a lower offer for that part of the business than CCFC had proposed)?
The fact that AEH Trust (let's not they are devoid of any blame in this) sold their share in ACL to Wasps, even though CCFC had offered to buy it?
The fact that CCC have granted permission to develop the AEH Trust's facilities for a training ground for Wasps, thereby making the CCFC Academy homeless?
The fact that CCC have allegedly made numerous attempts to impose planning conditions on development of the BPA that would prevent CCFC from playing there?
The fact that SISU have taken repeated and ongoing legal action against CCC and Wasps to seek recompense for financial losses they perceive they have incurred as a result of illegal use of public funds to support a private enterprise, etc.?
Please enlighten me.
And CCC can make someone talk to SISU when they don't want to? Even CCC will have been advised not to talk to them while the legal action is ongoing. All of this "They don't own the club so they have no influence etc" is bollocks.
The same as Wasps can decide where we play or not and they don't own the club.
They could even talk with a mediator and say "this is what we can do if you drop this" and maybe compromise. It may not work, but mediation worked to get us back from Northampton.

Having been living away from the Sky Blue city since 1980 in London, Hamburg, Manila, Vancouver, Bangkok, Moscow and now in the Saudi sun. I feel well qualified to comment on where people think Coventry is situated, having spent most of that time correcting uneducated folk on where Coventry actually and its own unique place in the evolution of the 20th Century.the fact you're making a fool of yourself doesn't distress me mate.
I think his point was that people from Birmingham wouldn't have the same civil pride as Coventrians. I actually don't really agree with the thrust of his e-mail but you're statement about Coventry been perceived as a suburb of Birmingham is very peculiar from a so called Sky Blue, think that sun Saudi sun must be getting to you.
Come on Nick. What brought us back to the Ricoh was the SISU plan to get it unencumbered didn't work and the vast majority of us not following them to Northampton. They could even talk with a mediator and say "this is what we can do if you drop this" and maybe compromise. Point taken and see my response to CVD. No apology necessary.Riyadh, what connection do you have to the city? It may be that you are a Cov Kid exiled in Saudi, in which case I'm surprised that you'd not understand the sensitivities around the point you make about the relationship between Birmingham and Coventry.
If you are by some quirk of fate simply a Sky Blues fan from Saudi, your comments are naïve and ill-informed.
Coventry is a proud and ancient city in its own right, and its citizens have been fighting for decades to avoid being viewed as a suburb of Birmingham
NO TRUE FAN HATES HIS FOOTBALL CLUB .Oh I was talking about the first tenant when they went and pleaded for a reduction and were told to screw off.
Amazing the hatred on here for the football club.
Lol
So as you haven't answered my question you must support JR2 !

They seem to ignore the detail and concentrate on just the end result.Did you read what he said about the legal stuff between CCC and SISU for it to go any further?

As for being a so called Sky Blue, you are right, I choose to spend my time and money on a shit team when I have only a so called allegiance to them at all.....
See you at Wembley CVD, after I have spent the best part of 10,000 of your English pounds bringing my sons to see a game that has no meaning to me at all. I have kept up the deceit from 1967-2013 and 2014 to 2017.
The 25,000 stadium is a done deal just need the council to stop getting in the way.
