Not if it was Venus in chargeIf we had sacked Mowbray earlier we would be in a better position !

It was obvious at the time that it was cleared off the line.Watching that Back we can safely say that Burge's wonder saves were 1 straight at him and 2 not a save at all, cleared off the line because he missed the ball.
#defendburgeeventhoughhesshit
Much like the Southend game.Game of two halves for me Bigi very poor 1st half second half much better
The important one to Lameiras that led to the goal?
The odd stray pass? How many successful ones did he make?
I thought Bigi was very, very hit and miss. It wasn't just the odd stray pass unfortunately, it was 5 or 6.
Reilly was guilty of it too, as was Thomas and Reid.
One our most error riddled performances for a while despite all the plus points of fight and endeavour etc.
Bigi would be a 5 out of 10 for me and no way a MOTM. Just don't get that thinking at all.
I thought Clarke played well, as did Willis, and Rawson again was magnificent. Beavon worked really hard too. All those would be ahead of Bigi for MOTM.
Bigi MOTM? Lol 5 or 6 at best. Probably one of the CB's for me.

No I didn't. I said we shouldn't expect him to. I don't really see the point. I've always been a robins fan and we should have got Mowbray out last Feb and we'd be in the championship now
I don't think our cbs lost a header did they?
Or was it one of Bigis misplaced passesI didn't get why Eakin says that one off the line was a save by Burge. When it happened it was pretty clear that Bigi cleared the ball. Mind. The CWR desk was on the blindside for the incident.
I think you're right, when he plays we have much more possession, the opposition can't score when they don't have the ball.Bigi had a good game today imo. Not a MOTM performance sure, there were a number ahead of him, but I am sure people can look beyond the odd stray pass when assessing his performance? He sees a lot of the ball, so of course he will give it away from time to time. This isn't bloody Barcelona. His work rate today was outstanding I thought, and I believe we are a better side with him in it. If you look at the games we have won in the league this season he has started most of them. I think he may have missed only one (but could be wrong). Just wonder when people will give the lad a break.
I don't mind him playing the more difficult balls and them not coming off, it's the the simple passes when he gives the ball away that annoy me.That bit where he kept possesion by rollijg back on the ball in different directions got a nice cheer from crowd.
Just needs to stamp out thensilly mistakes. I have no problems with high risk balls being stamped out. But only ehen they are warranted in the first place.
Many, but the good work he does seems to go unnoticed.
There was a passage of play today, early in the 2nd half I think, when he was outstanding. He broke up play, there was a vital tackle, he was neat and tidy with the ball, played a couple of good forward passes into feet and covered a huge amount of grass. He was also constantly giving instructions and encouraging his team mates to play a higher line. Exactly the sort of thing a manager would want from a player in that role. All of it probably missed by most watching, but they didn't miss the stray pass a few minutes later judging by the collective groan and the shit terrace punditry that followed.
He didn't start the game well, but 2nd half he was excellent and covered a enormous amount of ground. Parts of his game he needs to improve on sure, but I do feel a lot of the work he does is underappreciated.
Don't know what the word is for setting up the opposition with terrible short passes he did he would be M O M for that.Just noticed he made the pass to lameries which led to goal
In ice hockey he gets an assist for that!
Revisit this post in a few years time re Haynes? Although I notice you recognized a decent performance today. He's a terrible footballer as evidenced by the fact after four years with a premier club he's now struggling to hold a place in the club that's bottom of league one.

Sorry Gtendels never rightGrendel is right about bigi. He shouldn't be struggling to hold a starting place for us. He should be heads and shoulders above the others in midfield and he's not.
Love his back story and still want him to succeed.

Anyone with an A* in english knows it's i.e. and not I.E.
And you missed the full-stop after farcical.
See me after the lesson

Great atmosphere, good all around performance, a neutral would of been hard pushed to id the team pushing for promotion, a happy 3 points.
Shame its too little too late.
Actually looking forward to Wembley with a lot more hope now than a couple of weeks ago.
Helps when there is a decent away following. 100 fans half a mile away is not the best way to generate an atmosphere. God knows what it will be like in league 2.This - I thought our fans were great today (suspect it's a combination of no tension, as we've all 'accepted' relegation, and still have a pre-Wembley glow) and that was the most upbeat/enjoyable atmosphere at a league game at the Ricoh for a long time. Gives us hope of a performance next week, and a little more hope about getting organised for next season.

It's amazing how someone can get praise for one pass (which was his only contribution all year) yet the great finish largely goes unnoticed.
Now you are using 'farce' incorrectly. Another trip to the dictionary is in order.Nope, I meant travesty in the context of farcical I.E. his tenure was a farce.
I assure you that my A* in English A-Level is quite deserved.

And there's no such word as 'nope'.
