To the apathetic ones... (3 Viewers)

Juke out for up to £2m.
Nothing heading the other way other than another loanee - and this one has already been loaned out to one of our rivals, with no effect.

Are you getting the hang of this now?

SISU are on a selling spree and anything coming the other way looks more like a truly pathetic attempt to show some kind of interest in on-the-field matters.

A squad that desperately needs improving to save our status in this league (and avoid taking us back to where Jimmy Hill found us) is instead being further decimated. We all know it. Even Andy Thorn knows it.

They will happily take us down. Does that not make you angry?

I am expecting Save Our City to gather momentum now. If it doesn't now, then it never will. God help our once proud club.

The only way to stop them all being sold is for a decent take-over with somebody who has decent money.

Don't think that anybody is out there, otherwise they'd have bought the club before anybody decent being sold off.

Basically we're fucked.

For a long time now we've been hearing "we're doomed to relegation, no point sacking AT". So why get the knickers in a twist when a player is sold? Better than seeing him sold for a bag of beans in L1 or, worse, walking for nowt.

Totally agree - just trying to appease us with a token loan player. Where's the experienced Premier League striker
we were (sort of!) promised. Another load of bul****.

Have supported my beloved Sky Blues for 47 years and have never seen such a pathetic shambles in all my life.
I am just so gutted at what is happening to my Club that I can hardly speak.

City till I die though - they will never break me!

I guess people are pissed off as he is our top scorer and maybe just maybe people hoped that the club might try to stay up, by keeping the better players and bringing in one or two to try to fight relegation.

What is worse losing out on transfer fees or significant loss of revenue due to relegation?

You're missing my point a bit, Moff. I'm not saying that SISU's non-investment policy is correct, nor am I saying that people shouldn't be pissed off. What I am saying is that the apathy has been with the fans who have said "no point sacking AT, we're going down" - and have been saying as much since November. So why oh why suddenly get animated when a player is sold in a doomed season? If he walked in L2 for a lower price there would be similar outrage then.

Sorry CM, I wasnt disagreeing with what you said just raising that point in general.
Your post above is very true.

What really takes the piss with this one is that we are loaning a player that's already been tried and tested to no effect by the very club that is buying Juke!

It speaks volumes for our ambition. I've never seen such acceptance of a club's demise from all quarters.

SISU know that we're going down. I can only hope that they have also taken into account the drop in gates next season too.

Well, we'll all be happy when Hoff DEFINITELY takes the club over, won't we? Everybody on here has been saying since August that he'll be sold in January and they were right, so why is everyone so shocked?

To be honest, I never believed there was a billionaire interested in buying us. At least not interested enough to go ahead with it at least. Our debts would be peanuts to a true billionaire.

This doesn't look good for our hopes of a Hoffman-based takeover either. As you alluded to, if negotiations were well down the line then you'd think that further player sales wouldn't be happening.

Is it shock Torch or are people not just angry...at seeing the playing squad decimated, the club run into the ground, and seeing a total lack of fight or interest from our owners towards staying up.

No shock here. Just anger at seeing my club being destroyed in the interests of a London based investment firm, with no real retaliation - but I still hold out hope on that one.

So pissed off at this whole situation.:mad::mad:

As above Torchy, not a shock.

Sadly I think we expected it.

I guess there was a tiny hope somewhere that the owners of our club might have wanted to at least try to give us a chance of staying up - and after all, would Juke have been worth so much less in July with still a full year left on his contract?

I think SISU really do have to tell us what their strategy for the club is (did I hear someone laugh at the back?).

We currently look a total shambles.

Nothing will change at the club unfortunately Tommy. We will continue to be asset stripped by SISU as thats their line of business, they will continue to treat us like mushrooms as this is also one of their strategys. While they are at the helm any player that looks like they may be worth a few quid will continually be sold to meet proffit returns for their investment funds. They dont, have, and never will give a flying fuck about CCFC, we are not a club we are a fund in a portfolio of investments managed by Onye Igwe. They do not listen to anything or anyone that does not conform to their business plan and will only leave when a bid is made that lets them leave on their terms. I for one will continue to fight and protest where ever its possible, not because SISU will listen to fans, but because highlighting their poor business acumen will hurt them in the long run. As far as city is concerned at the moment bad publicity is good for us as it will hopefully speed up SISU,s departure. The next protest has to be a big one, we need to march on block to the ground with as many fans that are attending as possible. The management team are only attending the London supporters function as they think they will get an easy ride away from the city, perhaps some of the London boys could give us some spare tickets and and the adress so we can all turn up to voice our disgust at the way these leaches are running us into the ground. PUSB and keep the faith.

Spot on Senior Vick from Alicante, the next protest needs to be big.

Ive heard enough of the "I'm supporting the team" stuff.... How do you support the team? The ground is like a morgue NO ONE SINGS!
Your supporting SISU by giving them your money.

We need to be together in this and keep the pressure on SISU otherwise we will end up in League 2 by 2013, people that are saying we will come back up with our current side are probably right, but the point is we wont have our current side, SISU will sell anyone who is half decent in league 1 next season.

Reading between the lines SISU have made the decision to sell the club quite some time ago but know that they won't recoup their full investment in the sale.

They aren't thinking about the club or the fans they are only watching the bottom line and trying to minimise their loses, they will sell what ever they can during this transfer window and then sell the club before the end of the season. There is no other consideration in their plans and no love or passion for our club or indeed our history.

I'm sad to say its a matter of sitting through this pain until they sell up and move on.

They won't be getting another penny out of me and it's depressing to watch our club crumble around us but until the sell things will only continue to grow worse.

You can't support a club without supporting the owner.

Away from home??

Also my point about support is the difference between buying a ticket and sitting there in silence. Thats not supporting in my eyes, its watching. Supporting is trying to create an atmosphere which is sadly lacking and the ricoh,

The London function's been held annually since around 2008 (I think), but it's obviously an attempt to avoid the brunt of the flak they'd have holding it in Cov. You'll need to pay a tenner either at the door or to join the CCLSC (again £10), as well as e-mail in advance to get in; no tickets needed!

But what does it matter to the team how much we get for him. The more we sell him for means our grave robbing owners get it NOT the CCFC first team

Sure, but that is almost certainly due to the lack of support. If the money from fans (support) dries up, then the losses escalate and we see more cost-cutting to plug the difference; but more cost-cutting means a poorer team, poorer results, less support, less money, etc. The cycle continues until we're a nothing of a club. We're only as significant as our support.

Don't think this part of the portfolio gets an adequate return on investment, which is why I hold out the hope it is going to be sold off...... and a reason for why I won't be renewing my season ticket if these leeches are still clinging on.

Catch 22 really, if people don't go to the ricoh to support the team then players will be sold, not ideal not by a long shot.
We all knew this was going to happen but sisu will not be pocketing all the money if it is true that there is a selling on fee owed to Everton.
Will they reinvest the money yes, in trying to keep the club going not ideal and I am not a pro sisu or whatever just looking at this in perspective, I would love them to go but the club needs to survive, shitter times are ahead of that I am certain with more players going.
We just have to face the facts that we are at this moment in time doomed for worse times ahead, and I have said that the only way we would get someone would be a loan player from the buying team and an inexperinaced player at that.

Just can't believe it's yet more bad news. Selling our top scorer is just what the team needs to survive relegation. Sell fecking Clingan and Bell and Baker and ROD and anyone else to get some money in, not the top fecking scorer.
Well get ready for Crawley.Cheltenham, Swindon and bloody Yeovil. Its the lowest i have ever been rergarding the club i love, what mind set do they have ,if they think this is a good move which will Guarantee certain demotion and crowds of 8000 max.
Would you want to spend £20 to watch Hartlepool and the rest, as the financial world collapses even more, some or most of us will have to make very important decisions on where our money goes next season.
Can SISU explain this to us, how are they going to get our money next season playing the super giants of League 1, then League 2 against Barnet and Fleetwood fecking Town

Of course what you say is correct. This issue is though there is no alternative that anyone else can definitely say is even remotely out there. There is lot's of nudge nudge wink wink - billionaire here, millionaire there - but where are they. If someone really wanted to take the club on and SISU wanted an unrealistic amount why would the bidders not show their hand publicly. This would give protesters something to latch onto. At the minute we want to burn the house down with nowhere else to go.

SISU were never going to be good owners if we did not succeed on the pitch and crowds did not pick up. They could at best have been seen as temporary life support and now that is about to be switched off. Mass boycotts are impossible to organise and anyway 70% of matchday revenue is tied up in season ticket sales.

I would guess pretty much every club that has been relegated from the Premiership and failed to get promoted within the parachute window has fell through the relegation trapdoor again and experienced financial difficulties.

Short term it looks bad and despite best intentions were are paralysed in trying to influence off field activity (primarily as we are owned by an offshore consortium and have no local shareholders to be accountable for and we all know who to blame for that).

So choice is simple support and try and achieve survival in the league however the odds are stacked against us or accept the fate that ultimately awaits.

They can run the club with 8,000 fans if they want to - I don't want to give them that opportunity and I want to continue to support the side.

Remember the club is over 100 years old. SISU will be a blip on the history of the club but will not be permanent.

We averaged 17,407 in the first season they took over.

We are now back to the average we were 2 years after being relegated from the Premier League
