Severe backtracking taking place, lets randomly wish a good death on someone who is well below average age for a male and someone you hate.

Was my original post edited?, or it is because you're actually too dumb to see your mistake? Nice try though you bellend.

I stopped at an M1 service station on the way home on Sunday (one up from Scratchwood) and saw Gary Hoffman and Joe Elliot.

Can't see it myself. Need a willing seller and a willing buyer there's neither there at the minute long way off
There will be willing buyers but only for what it's worth.
Unfortunately Sisu want to the buyer to clear most the debt and there lies the problem.

Didn't SImon Jordan lose his fortune when in charge at Palace, and wasn't that partly because he was unable to reach a deal for the ground?
No, think you are talking about the reign of Mark Goldstein
His fortune had taken him 15 years to accumulate but, after his purchase of Palace for £23.8m, it took him a mere 18 months to lose. “It’s really a question of not dwelling on these things,” he says, quietly. “You become ill if you do.”

You're thinking of Mark Goldberg, but mine was a rhetorical question ;)

Jordan ended up putting Palace into administration, after messing up a deal he thought he'd made for Selhurst Park.

I thought he'd completed the deal and that's what broke the club forcing it into administration? The only saving grace being that the club and ground were at least one entity again going into administration meaning that the club actually had some worth as a going concern.

Nope.

He said he'd made the deal, but it actually turned out to be owned by someone else, and was leased to the club on a relatively short lease, for over a £million in rent pa, crippling the club.

Sound familiar? ;)

I never wished him death, I instead wished him a good death, if he in fact is dying. That's life, we all die. Hopefully he's taught his children that. Well done for not comprehended what I wrote you shambles of a man.
What an embarrasing backtrack. I thought perhaps I'd missed something subtle but you started your sentence with "good" in response to someone saying he was in poor health.

That's a disgusting comment and you should be embarrassed.

Sounds like he'd fit in well here. He has all the right credentials ;)
Yup.

He's an odd one. At the time, I thought he did a good job for Palace - he put a lot of his own cash in, he was a fan, he turned them round after the Goldberg debacle.

But the stadium schenanigans were just... odd, he seemed to lose his mind at times with some egocentric decisions (he and Dowie ended up falling out rather), and he left the club exactly where he found it - in crisis.

Now ultimately, you can let him off some as self-made man and fan, who ended up owning the club, and this is a better model than random investors rocking up. Not sure what he has about his ownership that'd make anybody want him to rock up at a random club such as ours, however.

I saw Elliot standing at the bottom of the elevators randomly trying to shake everybody's hand who was going up them.

Was a bit random.

No idea what he was doing. Either that or I walked through the VIP bit pissed up.

well don't tell anyone but ............

Dhinsa, Byng, Hoffman, Elliot and some American fella have joined forces with Shapiro, Wasps and some drinks company to put together a consortium for world domination by CCFC and it is planned to buy Wembley and move it to Coventry (because of our good record there) , culminating in CCFC not New York winning the World Cup, The FL & FA have sanctioned all the elements of the deal and forced SISU to sell for £1.............. they all met to celebrate the deal at the Green Man Sunday last weekend .................. honest!

Best bit it, if enough people said it then it would be taken as fact :)

Well that is ambitious - last I heard it was to buy BPA, CCFC , CRFC and Coventry Bears - they must have had a windfall to consider the above

All subject to proof of funds of course and actually sending an offer letter!
