He's the perfect manager for this club. We're shit and somehow he keeps on winning. Everything for Huddersfield is more than forgiven. A trophy and a team with fight that can grind out results against more talented teams. Where have you been all my life.

He seems a perfect fit

Looking forward to next season - let's hope the trust survey is bollocks and fans support next seasons assault on league two

If he hangs around this time it's top 7 for sure

Is he on an 18 month or rolling 12 month at the end of season?

I don't believe if was ever said. I read as Robins being free to walk at the end of season without compo if another club comes in.

Could he be for us what Eddie Howe is to Bournemouth?

I doubt it, but I'm looking forward to next season in L1 or L2!

No chance, not so soon. That bastard owes us big time. See where we are in 12 months time and I may love that bastard.

If only Sisu hadn't taken the cheap option , with a better manager I'm sure we could have stayed up... with robins I'm sure we would have !!

We had slade in charge for possibly the worse part of the season, playing all the teams around us & getting bugger all!!!

Remember though, especially on here, when Slade was number one choice ?

It's happening already. People settling themselves up for a fall.

We saw all the same waxing lyrical over Mowbray only for him to fall on his sword.

I'm not disagreeing that MR is a good manager or a good fit for CCFC but unfortunately we have bad owners who aren't a good fit for CCFC and I don't think that the MR positive is enough to overcome the SISU negative to the point where we'll bounce back either automatically or via the playoffs. Talk of top 6 or 7 finishes is extremely premature especially if nothing changes with our owners.

Still you can always decide he's shit when purple patch in the face of absurdity comes to an end as happened with SP and TM or failing that blame the fans. I'm sure that will work out for you.

I think it's simply he knows what the players need to do and simplifies his expectation of what they can deliver

If you look at his managerial stats on wikipedia, he looks, first spell with us apart, pretty damn average. But look behind the stats at the clubs he's managed, and none have been expected to compete at the top of their respective leagues. Win percentages don't tell the whole story. He's done well / okay at every club, given their respective status. With a club like ours, and with a top-ten budget, he may well exceed expectations.

Whatever the reasons for Robins leaving before he had a very good record with us and given that he has come back in very different circumstances and turned around a team that was devoid of anything that lent itself to winning football, he has more than earned the right to have our support. When we go down it is nothing other than a validation that the previous managers were catastrophically inept and Robins is a decent coach that can and does affect the outcome of games.

His record at Rotherham was excellent as was his start with Scunthorpe.

It's almost as if he belongs here .
It would be such a shame for the fans to walk away next season when with a bit of togetherness I think this man will do us wonders next season

He does belong here, elite mentality manager. Pair him with the right players Bigi, Lamerias, Jones, Reid, and Beavon.

Just missing the natural goalscorer (20+ goals potentially Ponticelli) and a decent defensive line (maybe bring back Reda).

We all make mistakes, cannot let them define us, hope he gets us promoted at the first attempt next season, and maybe even back to back promotions to the Championship never know with team cohesion and fans behind the team. Optimism not pessimism. Fan unity needed.

Don't disagree. But iirc he has a 37% win percentage overall, which isn't a figure that stands out until you look at how average or poor the clubs he's managed have, traditionally, been.

Robins just oozes class and always presents himself well in interviews.

I said it the first time he was here, and I'll say it now.
