There is but ONE god!1 His name is ATHEIST! Grow up FFS and stop believing in fairies and imaginary friends!
If that's directed at me, I never said I was civil! x x xLol you calling peoples beliefs fairytales is civil?
Haha
IYet more proof atheists could do with god in their life just as a lifestyle choice. Look how rude you are whether god is real or not.
I think it was directed at me HH.If that's directed at me, I never said I was civil! x x x
Careful calling me "HH"! You'll get accused of being a Hitler supporter (or something like that! Didn't you see that stupid post yesterday?) :emoji_sweat_smile:I
I think it was directed at me HH.
I didn't, but I could well imagine. I find the first retort of the "great offended" and religious types is to call you a Nazi or on some way connect your viewpoint with the regime, it's an easy get out for them, but it instantly undermines their argument, usually because they don't have one, leaving them to revert to the ad hominem.Careful calling me "HH"! How would you respond to a grown adult that believed in Santa?
Not read the ongoing between you guys but thats a bit of a low blow cc4l. Assume it's heat of the moment so I've not quoted it to give you the opportunity to delete before he reads.
Catholicism and Christianity are not one and the same, so please do not assume this.I must say HH, you seem to have done well escaping the "thou who does not believe" religious Irish upbringing?
I have a strong Irish background, with Catholic religion, but my parents weren't "god fearing" like many. They seemed to see through the religious BS, and I am grateful they did!
We had this discussion before, why give it loads now after liking my post about Catholicism? How are Catholics and Christians different? Claptrap! Cafflicks worship Christ. They are Christians! Duh!!
Do your own research, laddy. Started with the Emperor Constantine and the holocaust of Christians by the cult of Catholicism, not sure of the timeline without checking, might have been 13th century.Catholicism is pagan - please tell me more.
Yes, he is, you're quite right. He represents Nimrod/Baal/Satan/Lucifer, the 'King with many names'.Father Christmas is pagan too - perhaps he is real after all!
Furthermore, if you need any evidence (since Atheists tend to assume without researching) I'll PM you a host of links and videos verifying my remarks, if you like? How are Catholics and Christians different? Claptrap! Cafflicks worship Christ. They are Christians! Duh!!
Laddy? - I'm 51. Ignorant mockery? - I asked a straightforward question as I am interested.Do your own research, laddy. Started with the Emperor Constantine and the holocaust of Christians by the cult of Catholicism, not sure of the timeline without checking, might have been 13th century.
Catholic rituals are paganistic. Look into it please, before more ignorant mockery.
Catholicism, at it's core, is NOT anything to do with Christ. As Atheists, you thirst for knowledge, so do your research.
By the way, I'm not being drawn into any more petty arguments with those who don't know what true Christianity is.
er........... let me have a long hard think on that ......... er ................. nah!Furthermore, if you need any evidence (since Atheists tend to assume without researching) I'll PM you a host of links and videos verifying my remarks, if you like?
Ok, I apologise for my tone, it's difficult to gauge someone's tone on a very sarcastic forum.Laddy? - I'm 51. Ignorant mockery? - I asked a straightforward question as I am interested.
Never mind.
Pardon?er........... let me have a long hard think on that ......... er ................. nah!
I'm an atheist. I don't believe in absolutely ANYTHING godlike or similar! I shout at your god and tell him he's a c**t and if he doesn't like it, strike me down dead! Nope! Nowt happens!
So there you have it. I was excommunicated from the church decades ago, (well, I excommunicated myself!), and have never been happier. You stick to your beliefs in fairies, goblins and ghouls and I'll live a happy life without a care in the world about them!

Fair enough mate. I was brought up with the Catholic faith, hence the interest, and I shall do a bit of research - I had never heard this before (about paganism). For what it's worth, I have (had) family members who have found their faith to be and positive a important element of their life, so although I don't believe, I feel it's a case of live and let live when it comes to beliefs.Ok, I apologise for my tone, it's difficult to gauge someone's tone on a very sarcastic forum.
For informational purposes, I'd suggest looking into the pagan roots of Catholic rituals and doctrines; they also display the bent or 'broken' cross on their crucifix depicting an emaciated Christ. Catholics per se are not the issue, the Vatican and the core of Catholism are.
It is an inversion and a masquerade of Christianity.
I do, however, encourage people to seek the answers firsthand, that way it's not merely my word which, I'm sure, sounds dubious at best.
Most denominations emanate from Catholicism, it even controls the modern day Protestant church. It's THE church, which the Bible calls an Abomination.Fair enough mate. Out of interest, is there a particular reason why you singled out Catholicism? Or do other Christian denominations and religions come under scrutiny in a similar way (honest question)?
I may have missed it in the thread, so apologies if so.
Catholicism and Christianity are not one and the same, so please do not assume this.
This is what I find most amusing about the Godless, mocking, flippant and dismissive - they have little knowledge on religious history, the TRUE history of Christianity.
Research how Catholicism is a pagan religion, masquerading in the Glory of God, then return with your thoughts.
There are good Catholics out there, but they have been seriously misled by the horrors of the Catholic church.
