It's on the official club website
It's headed "Joy Seppala has written an open address to Coventry City fans..."
Not difficult to determine who it's from, signed or not
So that worked! Now no but they have changed the heading since it was first issued, following comments about the lack of clarity as to who wrote it
This was something we tried swiftly to address. We have brought Mark Robins back to the club because we believe he is someone who can successfully rebuild CCFC. I am sure you all see some of those improvements in the short time he has been here. This summer will be one of change and reform as the club has already stated.
Lastly, we need to ensure that the club has a CEO with whom the fans can communicate, liaise and bemoan to, when necessary; a leader who can engage with the Sky Blue community at large. We are in the process of recruiting this individual.
As owners, we must take responsibility for the club’s position. Looking back on this season, I wish we could restart. However, as a great man once said: “We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.”
There have been numerous mistakes made this season. Firstly, player recruitment in the summer was not good enough; the appointment of Russell Slade who, albeit a good man and successful League One manager, was not a good fit for the club given its current predicament and focus on youth players.
I was overcome with emotion when the club made the Checkatrade Final, and I can only try and appreciate how it feels to have the club you love and have supported for so long be relegated to the fourth tier.
Are you serious? It should have been this and it should have been that. Would any of that made it any better? Not a chance.Silly timing and silly way to go about it.
It should have been an actual letter posted out to fans and signed by her personally. (not every single one, but addressed from her). There should have also been a sheet of vouchers the JSB get (costs the club nothing). It should also have been done at the end of the season or the day after relegation, now the timing is obvious because of the Walsall game tomorrow.
Some of the bits sound all well and good:
Yes, good if it happens.
Been saying this for ages, great if it happens.
Take responsibility then, an open letter on the website doesn't really do that. No idea what that quote is but it just sounds stupid.
Widdrington has come in, people will start having a bit more faith when they see action in the transfer window and a bit of infrastructure.
No she wasn't, no need to put that in and pretend. It's like when Brody strolled around with a city scarf around his neck. I doubt she is going to get an invite into block 15 as number 1 fan to help bang the drum now.
Silly timing and silly way to go about it.

What happened about the Operations Director they were recruiting? Why has it taken 9 years for a highly educated and experienced businesswoman to come to the conclusion that a few thousand football fans of varying degrees of education and business acumen came to very early on in SISU's reign? This should have always been the brief for a CEO. What is still not included is the word trust as in the sense of " someone the fans can trust ". The fans can communicate and bemoan Tim, but he is unreliable when it comes to liaising and the fans do not trust him. Basically Joy wants Tim to employ someone better than himself - assuming he is still there as Chairman.
Got to admit I love a quote as well but it doesn't even make much sense especially when in conjuncture with our situation.
What the hell has that quote got to do with ccfc. Beyond me
Maybe she thinks we are all black?
I imagine the letter, including spelling mistakes and poor grammar, was mostly written by Laura. Tim's a twat but he does at least know how to write properly.
Joy would have read it and added the stupid bit at the end where she wrote "We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope." That's a quote from Martin Luther King. I doubt that either Tim or Laura would have any idea about that quote. Only a yank would know it.
There is no way this is from Joy Sepalla. I know someone who met her once (in a CCFC context) and apparently she didn't know any of the players names, so very much doubt the 'overcome with emotion'. If she was that overcome, as someone has already asked - why wasn't she there?
Sorry, but I don't believe for a second this is directly from her. Most likely it was penned for her by Tim or the communications people before being signed off and put out in her name.
On another note, I wouldn't get carried away by the bid from the Hoffman consortium. It seems like the parties are just poles apart - too far apart to make something happen. I hope I'm wrong, but sisu don't even see the bids as credible, let alone anywhere near their valuation (as implied with them calling the bids 'derisory').
No , we want her head . ( and I don't mean sexually )I want blood
