SISU would be better off.
Offering Hoffman the new CEO role.
Give him all power to make decisions.
They become a very silent partner.
However his couple of million is spent on the club.
He strikes his long term rental deal.
He galvanises the fans.
He does everything most of us understands that needs to be done for the good of the football club
Building bridges with the council, Wasps and most importantly the fans.
He drops the legal action.

Nice to see his internet issues have cleared up.

What internet issues?

He's only able to post intermittently - usually when it's about Hoffman, the CT or Joe Elliot.

thanks for posting the thread was dying a death. Glad it's back up there again, cheers.
On another note your posting history of discussions about people's penis girth and animal porn provides me with a glimmer of comfort that in your opinion I am a moron.

In all seriousness, why not?
It would unite most of the fans.
Hoffman would not be despised in the manner Tim Fisher seems to be.
SISU would not have to crystallise their loses.
The investors money could be spent on the squad. Giving us the top budget for division 4.
Our long term future would be secure.
If the legal action was dropped we would have the council and Wasps as partners.
SISU would still have ownership, so they could slowly chip away at the debt by taking a percentage of all income.
They just stay well out of the whole thing and leave Hoffman as the manager of their investment.
When you look at his background he is more than up to the job.

All those points have some validity, but.......................

.............. he wouldn't do what Joy told him to do so he's not her kind of man

It would only work if Joy was prepared to be a silent partner and stay well out of it.
SISU made the mistake years ago when they moved away from investing in the best young talent and aiming for promotion.
To cost cutting and trying to devalue businesses.
A return to a realisation that the only way to recoup your money is success on the pitch would be very welcome

Hoffman has no experience in football and is in full time employment.

Why would Hoffman and whoever else is involved put money into the club without getting ownership?

Why would Sisu appoint a CEO they know if actively trying to get rid of them?

Why would SISU let him drop the legal action?

Hoffman said he and the others know they are throwing their money away anyway. They are doing it purely to save the club.
So what better way than to put the future of the club in his hands. with the club having the best budget in the league.

If he is running the club you negate him as a threat.

The legal action will fail. IfitdropsHoffman looks a hero. He gets the deals signed, over along time SISU chip away at the debt without crystallising it.

The alternative is lose legal action sell the squad and Ryton crytalise £20 million

So has Tim and Joy

lol. Do you think the shareholders and executive board of where he works would permit him to do both jobs.

Hastings insurance is a part time job is it?
