Come on. You didn't think it was going to be Fishers fault when there are fans to blame. This is Nick we're talking about here. His blame list goes

1) everyone else
2) SISU and Tim Fisher carry some of the blame but...

...everyone else.
So you agree that people will rush out to buy ST,s because of Fishers apology?
Interesting.

Was there one ? don't recall it myself .
There was a January one, Onye talking about how he wasn't answering his phone and then saying he'd been turning down bids. Promptly followed by selling Juke. Can't remember one at the end of the season but there could have been one.

Would the program not be covered by copyright? Surprise the CT can just lift out Fishers piece and reprint it.

Had a quick search on the website but can't see much.

About as much as I believe that people will rush out to buy them based on a poster on a fans forum calling people berks for rushing out to buy them based on what Tim Fisher say's.

If anything Tim Fishers apology is likely to turn more fans away.

I'm not. Remember the pre-Wembley article that was copy and pasted from Hull's local paper. He gets lots of material from here too.

I look forward to you and Nick arguing for another ten pages.

Do you think people buy a season ticket based on an article in a programme or because bellends like you and Bob get all foamy at the mouth?

The relality is that some people (not all) are choosing not buy season tickets because of the actions of SISU and unfortunately Tim Fisher.
If SISU sold up tomorrow or managed to get a CEO (genuinely making the full decisions) that the Cov fan base fully believed in. I think more season tickets would be sold.

But he was just being sarcastic Dongo.
What he is saying is that some people ignore all the off pitch issues and buy a season ticket because they support their club. Some wont because of SISU. We all have a choice and we should respect that fact.

The guy is a sick individual if he believe's he can keep rolling out the same crap and fans will blindly follow. Even the biggest fan of the Sisu Circus and him over the years are seeing the pattern and demise they have brought to the club. Loyal fans questioning buying a ST is a sure sign that he and sisu are coming to a tipping point of more lost revenue than ever thought possible and are now rolling out multiple letters in panic. He is a nasty piece of work, he has for years played on fans emotional attachment to the club which is shameful on his part and only he can answer for his actions and words during his time here.

He also has no regard for the fans, he truly thinks most are uneducated inner city idiots that he can toy with at any given time and statement's like this just show how him and Joy are not in a happy place as owners. They need a pr push and talking about building and investing is a little too late and totally unbelievable, at this point nobody is positive about next season until they see actions by these people. We are standing on the edge of a cliff and they expect us to jump with them through our love of "supporting the boys" i'm happy to watch them jump and even more happier to see that not all want to play be a part anymore in this drive off the edge. The only ones i want to see fall are Joy and the circus she brought with her its time for a change and Tim is not welcome or wanted in our city or club. So he can go spout his shit in Sheffield for all i care, they seem like a nice bunch up there!!! he would fit right in.

The sad thing about his article is that it could have been written when relegation from the championship was confirmed; the same lessons that should have been learned back then are still relevant now. They weren't learned during our 5 years in League One during which time TF has run the club, so who is confident it will be different in a lower division?

It infuriates me that he puts out what is effectively a "holding statement" full of waffle and vague/obvious statements; yes, it's helpful that he acknowledges relegation (8 days after the event) but in fact there's nothing of any real interest there at all. The same stuff was true in 2012 - wonder who our CEO was back then?

In 2012 he decided the best way forward was to crowbar the ground off the council - he then tried Sixfields, judicial reviews and a lot of nonsense about a new stadium. Never mind your nebulous statement TF, what are you actually going to DO?

That's true. It goes both ways though. Some people don't really respect the decision of those who choose not to go.

Yep, been saying the same for years.
He and Seppela are utterly toxic individuals and we will forever rue the day(s) when
they became involved in CCFC and Coventry.

Coventry City owner breaks her silence and speaks exclusively to the Telegraph's Les Reid, insisting the club is 'not for sale'
BY LES REID 08:55, 26 SEP 2013
One of Joy's comments to Les in 2013

“For the first time in 12 years there is enormous potential for real value creation. We have a clean slate. It’s a unique opportunity. It’s not been without a lot of pain, but I am very excited. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing something grow and succeed.”

I think we all have got to know Mr Fisher very well over the recent lean years of our football club. I tend to wait for the next failure to arrive and then listen to what his response is. One thing for me that is clear this coming season, after all the expected promises regarding rebuilding and supporting Mark Robins. It's the final plan for me. On the pitch is where it matters to me. One more failure to deliver then it has to be over. Because of the way Sisu/Fisher works this next failure if it comes, imo, the club will have been reduced to a pale imitation of what we once we're. A nothing club, a ghost club, that only exists for families to meet on a Saturday afternoon because that's what they have always done. So for me this season has to finish with promotion, 3 slots, 3 chances, last chance Sisu/Fisher. For all their talk they need prove it next season. Just hope MR gets his budget andeficit that he stays the course. Tony Mowbray was given the Sisu/Fisher talk and he walked. One last chance Mr Fisher.

This fits his character below....

Pathological lying (also called pseudologia fantastica and mythomania) is a behavior of habitual or compulsive lying.[1][2] It was first described in the medical literature in 1891 by Anton Delbrueck.[2] Although it is a controversial topic,[2] pathological lying has been defined as "falsification entirely disproportionate to any discernible end in view, may be extensive and very complicated, and may manifest over a period of years or even a lifetime".[1] The individual may be aware they are lying, or may believe they are telling the truth. Sometimes however, the individual may be lying to make their life seem more exciting when in reality they believe their life is unpleasant or boring.

The thing is Tony slating one of the many dicks who have a go a people for buying STs doesn't equate to sticking up for fisher.
I don't think there's many who can't see through fisher, and either way, people have already made their minds up what they're going to do, this article is an irrelevance in that regard.
But some people love to have their little digs at those who want to carry on supporting the team.
