The story I heard (was told) was a deal was closer than the latest CET and Hoffman announcement had suggested. We will see in next 48 hours. I think the latest bid could well be accepted in a slightly different structured way (more money up front) and may be the beginning of the end of SISU. Fingers crossed eh !!
Your future existence depends on this being true. :beaver:

Everything crossed.
To be rid of SISU and to stop the incessant bitching and arguing on the site would be a wonderful thing!

Hopefully, I don't think anybody would disagree but if we haven't been taken over by Sunday all your likes are going too ;)

Trying not to make this another takeover thread (unless thats his news) but why would Hoffman say it's off and he has had no correspondence if it was going through?

"Clearly what we've put forward is not enough"

"Happy to talk any time, any place, anywhere"

"I don't care who we play, really looking forward to going to Forest Green" - fair play to him, a proper fan.

Q: How far apart are you?

"I really don't know, 3 offers rejected quickly, hates raising fans' hopes.....we may be too far apart, wants to give the owners some return on their investment"

So not "big news". Just an interview with Hoff. Came across well though. Good to hear he's not giving up.
