No.
We got players in last season I had never heard of and everyone was crowing about how good they were.
Well I will wait until at least Xmas.
Never know what I want for Xmas so maybe if things change might ask for one.......

Yep-exactly where I am with it. If there is a team worth watching by then, I will pay on the gate.

Doesn't take an awful lot to wet some people's appetites does it, I'm encouraged That signings are being
concluded quickly and 'it seems efficiently" but Ffs It doesn't mean SISU have seen the light.

Just as a side note-had an e-mail from Birmingham City. They are offering £299 for an adult and a junior for Championship football obviously which is very reasonable and might put our prices into perspective.

I'd want them to pay me more than that to travel into Small Heath every other Saturday.

We are not that expensive ,
If you look at the league I think only 5-7 teams are cheaper ,
I dont really care what brum are selling for , lots of teams will be cheaper but also lots more , we are below average for league two and it's our only income stream,

Last bit isn't exactly true. We have loads of avenue streams sisu chose not to explore them. Nothing stopping getting non football revenue at other venues if it's that important. If catering and bar sales are that important they can run conferences at another venue.

Get some land next to the Ricoh build a pub open it on matchdays CCFC and wasps rent out parking spaces and then use it for conferences etc in the week.
Job done.

Said the same thing a while ago.

The capital cost is huge and if wasps boot us out? Oh and there's those people at the council

The "Bantam" would have been ideal.
What's that abandoned building on the Ricoh roundabout? Looks like an old social club, also has big car park. Maybe this would be ideal?

Well it closed down despite being long established and the Arena opening so I wouldn't be hopeful.

Yes that's all free of course and is guaranteed to return the investment

As opposed to a new stadium which always works out well and makes a profit.

There's no free money out there, you can even make a loss on the fabled pies if you fuck the business up. If the club want income streams it's going to involve risk and more likely than not investment.

So what if they do you still have wasps games etc to target.

Look they sold everything else off cheaply to get a cut just so they didn't have to run anything.
Now they moan they own and get nothing.
No ship no ticket sales nothing.

Now I do begrudge giving ticketaster a pound to book a ticket, but I wouldn't mind it going to the football club.
They could pay their staff and help towards rental of the shop and then keeping all other products to themselves.
No all we hear about is we only get 50% of the pie and pint money.

Exactly it was a social club not required in this day and age that is why you have to rebrand and move forward.
I used to work behind the bar at the Coachmakers on Radford road in the early 80's used to be packed at weekends and empty in the week but it managed to survive, wasn't until weekends started to dry up that it closed they are a thing of the past.
