Not decent tickets - unwanted ones finally returned from the Leicester Tiggers - as they fans had already bought direct. Piss up and brewery....

Won't matter if they lose it's all about the game:emoji_thinking:

They are selling tickets today at £27 and accompanying juniors free

How many did you buy? And do you want your usual parking space in Italias car park? I'll put some cones out if you do. Also did you want to book ahead for Wasps home games next season like you did this?

Ooops. Did I say too much? Italia will be sacking me for breaking customer confidentiality.

PS why don't we see you for Cov home games anymore? Are you parking elsewhere for them or are you doing NOPM?

Just flicked past the channel and they were all lying on the floor cuddling looked more like an orgy:emoji_couple_mm: than a sport

Great game of rugby but patently not a sell out, which is surprising given it's the biggest game that Wasps have ever played at the Ricoh in terms of importance.

It'll be nice for them to play in London for a change next week though. However, I doubt they'll be taking 43,000 from Cov down there with them.

The council can bang on about 'City of Rugby' all they want, but the truth is that a struggling football club headed for the bottom division of the league still has vastly more pull in the town than one of the best rugby teams in the country.

Fortunately we can have both.
Wembley and Twickenham finals in the same year.

When the success stops for wasps (which it will at some point, be it next year, 5 or 15 years time) I suspect they will struggle to get 5k

What facts? You've posted a picture from the opposite end that also shows empty seats in blocks that were said to be sold out.
It really doesn't matter.
Lifes to short to give a fcuk.
As I said its a shame people can't enjoy it or at least let people who can get on with it.

Just responding to the posters creaming over some empty seats with the facts.

The 'fact' is that Wasps didn't sell out for the biggest game in their history at the Ricoh.

I'd say that I'm sorry if that offends you, but the truth is that I'm not.

I can live with people going to watch them, it's undoubtedly a good day out. However the hypocrisy of those who claim to be city fans cheering them on whilst simultaneously being outraged about us being moved to Northampton turns my stomach.

So yep, every empty seat feels like a small victory. To me at least, it might represent at least one other person in the town who for whatever reason hasn't fallen for all the bullshit.

I looked up the BBC on this game to see if I could find official attendance, nothing there but there was a 'have your say' opened immediately after the match finished and I was heartened to see it had only 74 comments after being open 17 hours you get more comments on many Coventry Telegraph articles on the Sky Blues, which rather proves Rugby is a minority sport.

You have commented more about their match than ccfc ones on a ccfc site though?

I've never been to a rugby match ever. I have no intention of doing so, boring shite.

It was a raging success, rather sickeningly. They must have made a fortune when you throw in the TV money, the fanzone and advertising etc. The game is being lauded as an all time classic and various independent writers have said the atmosphere was fantastic. There will be no shifting this tribe I'm afraid, SISU fucked over any possible purchase with their pathetic legal threats and the council sold out of spite. The future is bleak for CCFC and I reckon Wasps will target Cov rugby to stop them growing in strength too.

It's just sad that people have to be like that.

Agree with most of that although I can see advantages for CRFC as well if they have access to Wasp academy players.
Also people may get into rugby through wasps and take in some CRFC games when Wasps are away.
Think positive.

Agree totally. Sisu messed up big time and Wasps stepped in and are reaping all the benefits. It's heartbreaking to see how low our football club has sunk and equally galling to see how Wasps have slipped so easily into the fabric of the city.

So Wasps can control them by the quality of players they send, they would never allow Coventry to get too high in the pyramid as they could start losing their followers to them as it has already shown that these people follow success.

Just like with CCFC, Wasps are not to blame for CRFC's position.

These people ? LOL

Still can't see how Northampton is the same when most Wasps fans put a positive spin on the move.
Be interesting to set the stats on how many come that attended Wycombe.

How many wasps fans that were at Wycombe are still there then?

The atmosphere from what I could hear was flat. They rely on a twat with a microphone shouting Allez Allez Allez. It reminds me of the TV show Gladiators, completely fabricated.
