I'm going to pick up some smack to get me through the night. Just need to give Corbyn a ring.
The IFS actually said this about the increase in education budget funded by the rise in corporation tax, (there may be an article elsewhere regarding this I didn't find it):
Labour have promised significant increases in education spending. If the additional £8.4 billion, of which £4.8 billion is for schools, is spent well then it will make a positive difference. And the latest economic evidence from the US suggests boosts to school spending can improve pupil attainment and their earnings. There is, however, much we still don’t know about Labour’s plans. What are their plans for early years, tuition fees, or spending in sixth forms and further education colleges?
Key bit in bold for me, defund education so the money keeps sloshing it's way up to the top 5% or invest in our youth for a better future.
that's the thing though. Labour may not fulfil their election pledges, but the tories are currently actively working against at least 75% of what they are stating in their manifesto, particularly in the areas of health, education and security.
More like family time is more important than having people chat shit telling me how good Corbyn is. Yes he has continually refused to condemn those he called brave. He continued to change the subject. Have you not been watching the debates?
If anyone didn't have a clue about him and read this thread they would think he is the best Labour leader for generations. He doesn't have any faults because others have done similar things. That makes him the perfect leader. I have asked a few times about the other Labour strong MP"s that would join him in a government. Totally got ignored.
I look forward to coming back to this thread on Friday when it goes into meltdown if Labour don't win. Just like the Brexit one. I didn't vote for Brexit just like I won't be voting Conservative. But some people just don't want to look further than their nose when it is a lifelong belief or something that is a benefit for themself.
Goodnight and enjoy the next day or two.
Mate, she ain't said nothing about Brexit, same as she's said nothing about anything else,
Haven't heard a single policy, never mind.have one explained, they've nothing to say, zilch,
Even the press are a bit worried 'you can tell" whatever happens tomorrow 'I don't care'
People are waking up.
Chatting shit is not backing up the things you have claimed my friend. You still havent told me who he called brave and why, fucking incredible.
FWIW I dont actually think Corbyn is the perfect leader.
I said something similar earlier in this thread. You could tell that some just don't understand basic economics.
He called the IRA fighters brave.Chatting shit is not backing up the things you have claimed my friend. You still havent told me who he called brave and why, fucking incredible.
FWIW I dont actually think Corbyn is the perfect leader.

Would you like to make excuses for this as well?

And try this one. It shows where he said they were brave.Chatting shit is not backing up the things you have claimed my friend. You still havent told me who he called brave and why, fucking incredible.

All bombings but wouldn't condemn the IRA.he condemned IRA bombings in that interview.
Nothing is good enough for you if not praising Labour. The Adam Smith institute, really.

The Adam Smith Institute is Britain's leading free market neoliberal think tank.
#dogsatpollingstationsThere are going to be some cracking made up polling booth stories for social media today.
Any reason for this to be wrong? And try this one. It shows where he said they were brave.
Revealed: Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell's close IRA links
Got 4-1 on Cunningham being re-elected in Coventry South. He had a decent majority last time and the new Conservative candidate isn't from Cov, they've brought in someone from Surrey.Any idea which way you're leaning and what do you expect the result to be?
I'm going to stick a fiver on 50-100 majority for the Tories.
All bombings but wouldn't condemn the IRA.
As I posted earlier in the thread the actual quote from Corbyn when he supposedly refused to condemn the IRA was:www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/05/21/growing-row-jeremy-corbyns-links-ira-refuses-five-times-condemn/

The other problem is that the plan to hike private school fees by 20% (which will end up more as they would increase VAT) and have not factored an inevitable move across to the state sector. That could easily add £2 billion a year to the sums.
So is that face that millions of working class people are voting for her. That's quite disturbing Torch!
No he never said it.I care more about what someone would enact as prime minister now than something they said 30 years ago.
One quote after being pushed for it. But would never condemn the IRA.As I posted earlier in the thread the actual quote from Corbyn when he supposedly refused to condemn the IRA was:
“I condemn all the bombing by both the loyalists and the IRA.”
they will lose their VAT exemption, not actually increase fees, (though that is probably how the schools will make up the short fall). Money to be used to provide free school meals for all primary school children.
All bombings.
Why aren't you happy with a peace agreement?
