lets not go too much the opposite way to OP because hes crazy. SISU are shit. ricoh situation, sixfields move, selling juke in championship, hiring slade,no scouting infrastructure etc . we were a shambles of a club before they come but you can put 2 relegations down to their decision making imo. not to mention how they far driven some fans away from club completley

that said every year im willing to start with a clean slate as on pitch success is just so much bigger for a fan. if we can get a new rental deal at ricoh and get promoted from league 2 and 1 in next 5-6 years i would be ecsatic and probably happier than some fans of championship teams finishing 16th every year.....lol. This summer has started of well, lets hope lessons have finnaly been learnt as we are now run properly on the pitch at least.

in summary. op shit. sisu shit.

if you so called fans on here had purchased more over priced season tickets instead of waxing lyrically on about the amazing new signings (has-beens,journey men and surplus stock sale items) we would not have to sell every player someone shows the slightest interest in :)
Did you really think it would ever change under SISU???
enjoy
ps George Thomas will be sold.....and again YOUR fault
fuck off you twat

Sisu did not bring us success. Have you forgotten what they've done during their tenure!

"For once"..... that was the point. And I said it was only "a tin pot trophy".

But nevertheless 43000 turned which proved there is potential and may be something to show a potential investor in the hope of getting someone to make an offer.

Yes but my point was it was not Sisu that won the trophy, we won it by fluke with the worst team ever(which they sanctioned).

Tbf. That cuts both ways. Tony Mowbray had us at the top of the table ... then we collapsed. SISU had bad luck there. Robins had us going and that went wrong. Both Robins and Mowbray could have worked. People on here were happy with Venus' replacement... said that he was the right man for our club...that didn't last long though. You could follow your reasoning there and say it was a fluke that SISU didn't have success with the managers. ( I won't though, it would be just as bad as knocking them on the only success they have brought us ).

Yes they have screwed up all the line, but they still brought us this little bit of success and I enjoyed the final ( on my birthday) and the weekend in London. I will not slag them or put them down in that. Plenty of other things to slag them on. The fans coming together for that showed that the potential is there.... and that there is a "point of Coventry City".

Sisu's actions have caused us to have that calibre of team on the pitch.

Things looking brighter on the football side because of Robins. Sisu are letting him manage.

However; Sisu continue their own NOPM stance.

No news on where we will play next season despite Wasps saying they are willing to negotiate.

No long term home for the academy.

No plans announced for the new training ground.

No movement on Sisu's preferred option, The Butts. (This pattern is so familiar. They announce something and nothing happens.)

Legal action resumes.

They appoint a Managing Director who has a very suspect past that includes moving a club away from their home city leaving them virtually destitute.

I've got my season ticket but I understand why others take the stance they do. I am optimistic for the team this season. Although the only player I know coming in is Doyle, I think Robins will get things right and I think we will be promoted this season. For the first time ever, as I am semi- retired, I am hoping to attend every game.

Long term, all of the problems remain. As a club, we are still in a parlous state. I don't and never will trust Sisu. They need to leave.

Whilst not agreeing with some of afan4life's post I think people seem to be too easily pleased with the signing (hope I'm proved wrong)still not enough goals I think.

You are saying to kill CCFC to make SISU go and then start again. So why not just go and support another team then if that's what you want to do anyway?

If I remember, you have moved to Cornwall so didn't bother anyway? It's a piece of piss when people in Cornwall or Australia like the last one bang on about refusing to give money when they don't anyway.

I'm in Australia and I refuse to give SISU monies! Until SISU include the cost of flights into match day ticket prices I'm never going back!

(Unless I fancy seeing the fam again and accidentally pass the ground whilst there's a match day on...)

Let's drop the act here guys, SISU are amazing and got us to our 2nd ever trophy. Anyone who can't see it's deluded. Shows how far we've risen.

Another game where we nearly cocked it up was the wycombe game. We scraped through that one as well. The only real decent performance was the final.

We still won them though? Doesn't matter if it was 7-0 or 2-1 in off the arse in the last minute.

We scored 19 goals in 8 games and we only played well once? How about the 3-0 against Brighton, the 4-2 against West Ham, the 3-1 against Northampton - none of those were decent performances?

The West Ham one was quite good, I enjoyed the earlier games.
