Not sure whether it will let you watch the games over it but hopefully it will just replace Player for the interviews etc.

Would be good if you can watch live games on it / full replays as I'll try hooking it up to the TV in HD :)

I'll post links when it's out.

It's not just for live video streaming, it's listening to it and then the highlight videos etc.

yeah but the pull of ifollow is full match live and full match replay. i would be shocked if that isnt included in the app

yeah seen some vpn apps for android that might be easy to activate on a tablet. never used a vpn though so im not sure if it messes up ya internet connection settings or anything??. if it only affects the device then i would keep it on tablet only.

I'm cancelling my sub if I can't get a VPN to work. Don't use it a lot really, only really when I was in hospital for those six weeks at the beginning of the year.

I use Master VPN. Worked a treat in University Hospital.

You can still use it without a VPN for everything like highlights, listening to games etc. It's just the live matches.

can someone give me a condensed idiots guide to vpn?

does it change your internet settings at home? or just change the device you install it on? can it be turned off after you have finished watching a game?

Oh, I know but I don't tend to do that. Watched the 10 minute highlights every now and then but only when we won so didn't get value for money really. Never watch the interviews.

No, just the device you use it on. Unless you setup a VPN tunnel on your router which is a bit OTT.

You would just disconnect after the game.

So just to clarify, the official board stance on here has gone from "Everyone should get down the Ricoh" to "Hey download this VPN and watch from home nbd"

There is no "official board stance", apart from pointing out your lame attempts to have digs.

Keep trying.

Personally, I will still attend as many games as I can afford to - not many, but when I have spare cash and there are no other priorities, I'll be cheering them on in the flesh. If VPN works and I can scrape up the £140 odd quid for iFollow, the club will make even more money out of me. Hope that helps.

The app won't let subscribers stream live video, but the fact the streams will be available for oversees subscribers means they won't be hard to come by. Read a report a week ago that the EFL were close to agreeing a deal for uk fans to subscribe to live streaming of their football league team for 2019. Only a matter of time.

It's sensible, they know people will find a way to watch it anyway.

It's not official until it goes to vote in the secret board meetings where they spend half the time gossiping about you

Jog on please.

Don't get precious, I wasn't calling anyone out in particular. I just think it's a bit off to openly encourage people to game the system so they can watch from home at a time when we need as many people in the stands as possible.

But the club will still benefit financially via ifollow.

Even more so when people will be using it to watch games they wouldn't have seen anyway. ie midweek away games and then going to watch every home game at the Ricoh.

People signing up to listen to games as they did before, also watching full match replays when they get home from games if they wanted to.
