What amazed me was Grimsby's history in the top flight for many years, looks at the 1930's Division One table. (For you young kids the Premier League)
Why are you on there-I already got yours, you owe me some brass!Still not working. I select 2 adults and it just says there are no available tickets.
Was thinking of dragging someone along. Mind you who wants to go to Grimsby! Why are you on there-I already got yours, you owe me some brass!

I take your point, but I meant the overall experience of league 2 football against Grimsby is a hard one to sell. You don't have to go to Grimsby. We play in Cleethorpes.
This comment will probably end up on the codalmighty website.I take your point, but I meant the overall experience of league 2 football against Grimsby is a hard one to sell.

Still think there will be a good 1,500 there. More looking forward to the Notts County and Mansfield trips were we should take a decent crowd. Not for me. It was one of the games I pinpointed going to at the beginning of the season.
Give me that over a day out at a sterile out of town (admittedly it's Cleethorpes but that is a place) identikit stadium
Personally, i can't wait.I will be there - have sat in that away end before and it's a bit grim, especially compared to other grounds nowadays since the standard of football grounds has improved so much. It will be a proper old school blast from the past though especially if it's sunny and if it's a good game.
Chips, beers on the seafront, the SBA in full force, first away of the season - one not to be missed!!
Not for the many Sky Blue fans there on Saturday. Really looking forward to it!I take your point, but I meant the overall experience of league 2 football against Grimsby is a hard one to sell.
Not going to sell 1800 though which is a bit disappointing. Not for the many Sky Blue fans there on Saturday. Really looking forward to it!
I'm going and I can't wait, but to convince fans of Villa, United etc to come is a bit tricky! Not for the many Sky Blue fans there on Saturday. Really looking forward to it!

But you have to go through a bit of Grimsby to get there from the direction of Coventry. You don't have to go to Grimsby. We play in Cleethorpes.
No chance. 1500 maxApprox 500 tickets left. Come on let's sell out.
When I was about 7 I decided to support a team from every one of the other three divisions. I chose Blackpool, Grimsby and Workington Town. God knows what has happened to Workington, but I still occasionally look out for Grimsby and Blackpool's results. Hope it's a good game.
I think of Grimsby and am always reminded of the film 30 Days of Night.Should be Sunny by the looks of it.
