There's a lot of confidence on this thread and people suggesting a drubbing is on the cards come Saturday, personally I don't see it.

A few people have also chirped up to say we're shite - I can assure you we're not, and I have a feeling that there'll be a mass order of humble pie being delivered to Coventry come 5 o'clock Saturday.

Should be a good game - Odds on the away win are generous.
If city lose i'll be both shocked and disappointed. If want to get promoted we should be smashing the likes of Newport

We used to play Nuneaton in the Dr Martins Premier Division. You would have probably been in the premiership at the time.

As for your question, I imagine some coaches will be avoiding the Coventry police.

What's that got to do with going to their ground? We used to play against Villa but we don't rock up there when we play Walsall.

It isn't even the same ground as they had in that league.

I really do hope we beat them more than ever now because of this fucking coach issue.

On the way match we should all crash at yours in Bristol to avoid the police.

Merely an observation of the irony of the situation.

I've never known such a random and meaningless post get so much attention.

Do you really care that much?

The irony of what situation?

It gets attention because it doesn't make any sense. :)

Avoiding Cov police? you do realise you are Newport not Partizan Belgrade skip?

Sorry to ruin your fun but I think you've completely misinterpreted that sentence.

As with a number of games the past few seasons, coaches and large numbers of fans have been categorically herded around and told where to go - the point being made was that by heading somewhere away from Coventry centre they will not have to deal with the hassle of that scenario and can have a stress free beer before the game.

By the way, it takes a dive to know a dive...

Don't worry mate, I think the entirety of the Newport forum are giggling at you ;):emoji_thumbsup:
Yep, because it's so blatant im the only one who doesn't understand it.

Pretty sure you would be baffled if we wanted to see your reaction to us taking a couple of coaches to Bristol.

As I pointed out, last season and prior to that there have been occasions where there has been disproportionate police presences and over-zelous influence on where fans can go. I can assure you WMP will give a rats.

Perhaps deserting your team while playing in Northampton, you've forgotten things such as this.

Even to an obnoxious Midlands halfwit it shouldn't be that hard to fathom why arrangements have been made to avoid similar scenarios.

Enjoy the game Saturday sweetheart :emoji_kissing_heart:

Bigger teams with bugger followings have been left alone by wmp so why would they need to clamp down on a few hundred people from newport. It's not hard to understand, even for an dumb welsh moron.

You seem to think you are bigger than you are.
