COMMUNITY: Ambassadors for Sky Blues in the Community during 2017/18 announced

The 2017/18 Season’s ambassadors are: Michael Doyle and Ben Stevenson (Sport), Chris Stokes (Health), Jordan Willis (Inclusion) and Rod McDonald (Education).

This is decent also

During the 2016/17 season, the players took part in 465 hours of visits in the Coventry and Warwickshire community. This was almost double the 285 hours the squad completed in 2015/16, while back in 2014/15 248.5 hours were completed.

It is really good to see Nick. The role the club can play in the community is immense and the dividends are obvious. Coventry Rugby Club are also doing good work in the community under the stewardship of player coach Matt Price.

It is great to see and heartening to hear the players talk about it with genuine pride and enthusiasm.

It looks like both Robins and probably an increase in experienced players like Doyle, Vincenti and others who will have been doing this for years helps too.

But we keep losing coaches at our Academy, Jackson Moody upped sticks last week and went to Villa, his twin brother left a couple of months ago. Can't really blame them though still no talk or confirmation on where our Acadamy future stands

Oh look, something half decent so somebody has to go on about something unrelated with a rant.

Great story and hopefully will put to bed the nonsense that CCFC don't do anything for the community. Can't remember who now but someone once said on here that Wasps had done more in the community in 12 months than CCFC in their entire history. Blatant bollocks.

Maybe someone who knew recepients of free tickets? WASPs can dish them out like confetti as far as I'm concerned, I'm glad OUR players will put themselves out and about, speak to the kids and get them involved.

I fail to see what wasps have bought to or done for the community at all! Apart from a few extra quid for a few local pubs in match day parking and some free tickets for schools. Other than that, whatever else I see them doing is more beneficial to their own PR machine than it is the local community.
