Doubtful. I think the FL asked the club questions on where they are playing in a few months time and they chucked in the BPA as an answer because they had nothing else . The league may have contacted CRFC who issued that statement saying basically fuck off it involves SISU.

The club made a statement which was just a bit of elongated spin saying we do not know either.

I concur the following things from this latest decision:
1. The granting of an appeal has been made by the judge on the belief that there is evidence for this matter to be revisited. It's unusual for a judge to take an opposing view to a previous ruling without new evidence.
2. The timeline for legal processes to be completed is now over a year away.
3. This will be a distraction to the club, even if only limited.
4. Whilst legal processes are being pursued, the club will not be sold, as Otium are a plaintive.
5. It will adversely affect the prospects of reaching a deal to remain at the Ricoh next season or find another landlord. Anyone approached to host the club will be concerned about being embroiled in a different legal matter, as our owners consistently use an adversarial approach to business.
6. This will adversely affect the club in trying to maintain the academy, for reason in number 5.
Finally, it's depressing that legal matters have resurfaced.

The difference is, it's globally known that the legal action is nonsense. I have said multiple times they have no chance of winning and predicted it. With that, it's globally agreed and nobody disagrees so that conversation / topic dies a death.
