FairPlay fir the optimism.
Although I am struggling to see where it is coming from.
We can't score goals. Exeter are no mugs.
I would be happy with a draw

There were about 7 of you that game and it seemed like utter silence so lets not go there

Not quite dude, I think it was more like 8 or 9 - Respect to Exeter fans tonight !

Anyway, I'm hoping we win comfortably on Saturday but you go up with us. Lived 22 years of my life in and around Cov and can't believe a club like yours is playing mine in a league match - ridiculous. When I was at school we were a crap division 4 team and you were in division 1 - who'da thunk it?

Fair play to those of you who have stuck by the club in such shit times, you don't deserve it.

Hard one to call if we can score early think we will be ok , if we don't I think Exeter ill win , I think they have the winning habit , which is massive at what every level you play, at what ever level we have played in the past we never seem to have had it , apart from the two cup runs , I think its more about getting use to winning than who we play

Nearer to Cov than Barnet I think. We've been behind twice away this season but still won. Happy with a draw but we never settle for one!
The distance was said more in jest than anything. It's not exactly Carlisle away.
All the best...after Saturday.

Quite a few Exeter fans at that game. Credit to them too travelling all that way for a midweek JPT game. Chanted and sung all night. One of there songs for a player who has died if I remember correctly?

Indeed, David O'Day seems a little defensive there.

We put on enough of a show to be filmed - hardly "7" there either, for a pre-boycott JPT game on a Tuesday...

That song is about Stanno who passed away aged 31 in 2010 from cancer. City fan and family man, he lead the line from the Conference to League 1. Top bloke.

Should be over 1,000 there Saturday, we regularly get told we have one of the better vocal supports in the league (not saying much I know!), so let's see what you lot think at 5pm Sat.

We have lost our 2 best players but replaced them with more depth and quality across the park. The fact we've had a storming start is no surprise - from November last year we've been the best League 2 side, going from bottom in Nov to 5th come the end of the year. I suspect we might lose this one, however - it has to come at some point!

I don't think we were inconsistent last year. Terrible until December because the squad was too thin but once we were full strength we were pretty good. Lost a lot of goals with losing Wheeler and Watkins but the squad seems stronger this season. Will take a point to remain unbeaten. Just hope the crowd is big enough to at least create some atmosphere. Last time we were at the Ricoh was terrible. I'd rather be going to Highfield Rd but I guess most of you lot would say the same

I was merely going by my observations, perhaps very inconsistent was an overstatement, on reflexion.

Still, here's hoping we smash you tomorrow. :p

Against the teams you would expect to be near the top, they've generally only scored 1. If City can score 2 I believe we'll win.

Can you do me a favour please lads - where is best to park tomorrow? I'm thinking one of the streets in Rowley's Green or Holbrooks - any suggestions?

Parking permits near the ground. Try the Hub pub or there is parking down the main road from there to the ground on the left.

Feeling confident..taking the missus which usually means an exciting end to end game...ending in a late goal for them! But today I'm going for a win 3-1

It will be interesting to see if Tom Davies is brought back in

Can't see a win today, but Exeter also can't expect to win every match. I'll go for a 2-2 draw. I'd settle for that.

I remember admiring the support and wondering what the song was about. Thanks for clearing it up!
