Sets a precedent that dissent is worth a 4 match ban but raising your hand to an opponents face is fine.

Didn’t realise their keeper had been sent off after the final whistle. Slapped with a 4 game ban for abusing the officials. Couldn’t happen to a nicer bloke!

Does anyone know what grounds was this overturned on? Their player has very clearly hit our player in the face. In most contact sports, that is a red card, provoked or unprovoked.

A 4-match ban for dissent seems a bit heavy handed. But, something has got to be done about ‘lynch mobs’ protesting the referees.

I doubt we appeal them that often...knowing that they'll go against us and we'll end up with an extra game ban!

I think most power league teams don't bother as there is only one TV camera angle.
I'm still not sure why this was overturned as he clearly strikes Doyle in the face!
