Rather be flashed than ignored. Fucking hate that shit. Raise your hand two inches you cockwomble.
I meant at night, I always wave my hand during the day.

Oh and being ignored, I can't say it annoys me, tbh.

Irks me too. Especially when you have given way and sat there for maybe 10 seconds while you allow them to come all the way from the other end of the street that has cars parked both sides. You sit there for what seems like ages and then they just drive past and don't even acknowledge you

Peanut Puffs and the fact you can't seem to buy them in supermarkets anymore in this country. Bloody love them.

Never heard of them. Are they like Wotsits, but peanut flavoured?

I'm annoyed about the TV show The Strain. Watched the first 3 seasons, but the 4th and final season isn't being aired in the UK anywhere. Ratings are very, very good. 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, good ratings on DenofGeek, 8.5 on IGN and just about every episode on IMDB rated at 8 or 9 out of 10.

Grrrrr!!!!!

I know it hasn't been renewed, but after showing 3 seasons surely someone somewhere can show the 4th!!

The fact that so few people seem to remember the TV gameshow Interceptor from the late 1980s

Never heard of it.
It was like a cross between the Crystal Maze and Treasure Hunt, except it also had helicopters and a mysterious leather-clad, motorcycle and Maserati-driving bodybuilder bounty hunter known only as "the Interceptor". He had a "ray gun" much like the everyday TV remote control of the day.

Never watched Crystal Maze or Treasure Hunt. Wasn't that the one with Aneka Rice in?
Yes. She also did Challenge Aneka where, again, the camera seemed to accidentally zoom in on her arse for prolonged periods of time.

Crystal Maze was fab. In fact I did the Crystal Maze Experience last weekend and it was fantastic, just like the TV show except for Richard o'Brien not being in it.

Unnecessary roadworks. I work in Shrewsbury so I don't know if any of you know where the old football ground is. It's a real pinch point gyratory system that is badly hemmed in by buildings and the railway so the powers that be have decided the following:

Extend the footpath that outside the old ground by about 3 foot, cutting the traffic flow space. Considering footfall down that end of town is much reduced since the ground moved and the pavement was very wide anyway it's anyone's guess why they have done it.

They have also decided to get rid of one of the 3 traffic lanes going over the bridge into town in order to put a cycle lane in. The thing is, as soon as you get off the bridge you are into oldy worldy narrow streets flanked by housing and shops they can't pull down so the cycle lane will end up leading from one side of the bridge to the other and that's it. Other than restricting traffic flow even further it's absolutely pointless. And it's been adding half hour to my working day for 2 months and there's still 2 months to go.

Every time for parents evening, it should be if the parent is late they have to sit and wait for a space then.

We miss loads of parent evening appointments. :(

They time them at our school with 5 min gaps (occasionally 10). Some parents take 20 mins waffling on at the teacher and we are usually then at least 4 appointments down by the time we get to our next one. We usually end up having to be selective and crossing some out to pinpoint the ones of the greatest priority.

Find it quite ridiculous and quite often you have 10 mins to see the one subject teacher and then also get to a completely different block for the next.

Our youngest is still at primary school so we only get to see one teacher. Last time we went, we were given the choice of only two evenings and appointments were at 10 minute intervals with no gaps in between. Our appointment was running 20 minutes late and from what we could see, ten minutes was nowhere near long enough for the appointment and the teacher seemed to have no concept of time management (great though if you need to have an in-depth chat). When we came out, there were at least another four sets of parents waiting to go in and confusion between them as to who was next in. Surely the school needs to allow longer for the appointments?

The clocks going back, as they will after the Luton game at the end of this month. As if it doesn't get dark early enough in the evenings in autumn!!! If it was me, I'd just leave it as BST all year round.

Is it too early to say Xmas?

I'm fed up to the back teeth of hearing the adult members of my wife's family waffling on about their sodding xmas lists. As for the younger members, one of them has a handwriten 15 page list of things they want totalling well over £500. The youngest only has half a dozen pages but everything's coming in at around £50 a time. Is this normal? I didn't tend to ask for a lot when I was a kid and I got what I was given. I certainly didn't whatsapp everyone lists of tat I expected.

Aggressive parents who watch kids' football matches and get angry/abusive. I have walked past kids' matches on the playing fields many times to hear impossibly-angry dads on the sidelines screaming at their kids, "come on Darren, you're better than that!" and far worse!

Pathetic impotents, ruining it for everyone.

Ditto that. We always end up not seeing all the teachers. It is impossible and we now have a parents evening on Thursday. It's going to be a disaster.

They start around 4.30 and we are usually allocated to be in at around 5-5.15. By then they are already way behind.

On Thursday we have been allocated our first one at 6.55pm.

I am guessing by then they will be at least 45 mins plus behind.

Washing machines.
The missus has gone out and left me in charge of it. Well, the shirts have come out and look like they've been slept in for a week. Must have had the spin cycle set way too high.
Bloody hell!
She will probably think it's all part of the grand plan to totally bugger up all household chores in the hope I won't get asked again :emoji_relaxed:

I just put everything on fast wash. Number 11 on our machine.

Ask me to do anything else and i would be buggered.

This was whites Otis, 95 degrees and 1200 spin cycle, 2 hours and 3 minutes for the full programme. Next time it will be fast wash and bugger it.

Yeah, now you see, you said all that but I just heard 'fast wash.' The rest was just empty words in a long forgotten, distant language.

Like your style, a little knowledge can be very dangerous.

School kids who have their headphones on and just walk out into the road expecting cars to stop for them.

Happens pretty much every day, they then shit themselves to see a car near enough next to them when they bother to look.
