The Bridge (2006):

Warning: this isn't for everyone and had quite a critical reception at the time, if you plan to watch it I would google what its about (not the TV series with the same name) before deciding whether it's for you. This documentary haunted me for a long time and still does. A sad but true reality

If anyone's into Architecture one of Americas 20th century leading lights is featured on BBC Four at nine tonight.
Frank Lloyd Wright.

Cheers for this wingy. Watched it last night, not usually the type of thing I'd watch but thoroughly enjoyed it :)

started watching Keepers on Netflix.
Not an easy watch at all. About a nun who was murdered to cover up abuse at a girls school. Watched a couple and had to take a break.

Sounds like a fuckin hard watch, I'll probably give it a swerve.

Started watching this:

The Confession Tapes | Netflix Official Site

Quite interesting, very making a murdereresque.

Just started watching, Nick. Yeah, has a similar vein to it.

Another ridiculous case that first one with the two 19 year olds. Seems that the only evidence they have is taped confessions that may well have been coerced.

The thing that annoys me the most in these is the lack of exploration of some evidence. In this case the possibility of a extremist involvement due to this families lax views and lifestyle as Muslims. Surely anything like that is worth checking out. An almost identical murder some 10 years earlier and a link between the two companies the victims worked for.

Surely you explore every avenue. These are people's lives you have in your hands.

What I don't get is why none of them have a lawyer in the room with them for 12 hours while they get hammered and ground down?

Crazy and scary.

Only watched the first one so far. Am expecting a similar theme throughout.

Annoys me how pleased the police and prosecutors always seem with themselves. Never, ever seems to be any doubt. Surely with cases of a lack of pretty much any forensic evidence there has to be a degree of doubt, yet these people are blindfoldedly steadfast in their conclusions. Is there not even 10% of their brain having even just a slight tiny element of doubt?

Front line fighting - the Brits battling ISIS. 3 British lads volunteer to fight with the Kurds against ISIS.
Really enjoyed it, they've got some bollocks the 3 lads featured, but not as much as the Kurd women fighters, brave as lionesses. A reminder as well that many of those on the ground fighting ISIS are Muslims who hate their extremist ideology.

What's that on?

Watching it now, madness. Volunteering to put themselves there.

It looks and sounds like a game of paintballing.

You watched the one about the gang that wasn't yet, Nick?

Left me stunned and speechless.

I think so, was that the gang nobody had ever heard of?

Some of it is baffling how they get away with it.

Yep. I was convinced they were going to get released all those years later. Everything pointed to someone else committing the crime. They even had the name of the suspect and it completely fitted his murder pattern and he was THERE at the time!!!

Louis Theroux is back on the BBC, 2 so far. Still think he is good at it because he is so random and just acts blunt questions.

The bit where he goes to see the pimp and gives him the first bump through the glass!
