Don't tempt me!!! I'll have Hill all over me like a rash. What's it about?
Yeah, you sort of see past that.Watched it in 4 days, really enjoyed it. Agree there are some daft moments - a bit Coenesque, but very good nonetheless.
Who, Gregg or John?Yep into this one - they do take a bit of time for my wife to get into which is dodgy as she would rather watch masterchef - but he is going to get violent at some point !
That's one reason why I just might watch. I love Tim Roth as an actor. He can be so creepy!Yeah, worth it, Houch, just for Roth's performance alone.
Yeah, get that. It steadies itself though. I got the feeling they went with some directors who wanted to do their own thing and didn't read the rest of the scripts bar their own individual episode.I've given up on it, it's so weird and all over the place as if some members of the cast and crew are making a different type of show and nobody's told anyone.
I've watched the whole thing and I'm still not sure.I watched the first episode then gave up. It just jumps from pillar to post with no real backbone as to what's happening.
Remind what the third one is. Is that the one that jumps all over the place? The first couple of episodes were very good, the third one irritated me (I can't stand that type of episode) and the fourth one nothing actually happened. Maybe the next one will pick up else I'll probably not bother with the rest.

Yep. Totally agree. That episode is weird, because you would think that was the tone and style of the whole piece, but it isn't. It's out of keeping with the rest of the series.Yep, thats the one. I've seen plenty of shows try it and it's always cheesed me off. On top of the constant jumping back in time, If I know what happens at the end of the episode right from the off I'm going to struggle to remain interested for the next 55 minutes.
It's very silly in places and the change of the young lad from psychopathic weirdo, to almost normal boyfriend lad material is quite ridiculous.Just on last episode.
Has got a bit silly towards the end like with the woman cop still working despite being shot in the shoulder, and the bloke from Coronation St (Frank) running from the car, getting shot, forcing his way into someone's house for another set of car keys while armed, the home owner throws the keys at him :emoji_sweat_smile:
Stagecoach? High Noon? Yellow Rose of Texas?Does anyone here know which famous movie was originally called "The Tin Star"?
I think the fact that they have commissoned a second series spoils the ending of the first - i.e (trying to avoid spoiler) you now know what happens/didn't happen to the main character.Good ending! So glad they've commissioned a second series
