I actually saw a couple of players stop or not make their run on Saturday when he got the ball in the 25 yard range. And that was the really worrying part for me, people are switching off when he gets the ball now.
When I used to play ive done exactly the same thing, just thought no chance of them passing and virtualy stopped playing, he needs it coached out of him sooner rather than later! Having said that as a striker you have to back your ability and back yourself to score so if we do take that away from him does that detract too much from his game?
One thing I noticed with him is when he does score he hasnt gone on to score another in the same game for us seems like he thinks ok job done with 1 goal

Yep, been there too. There was a lad called Leroy and he would never pass and just tried to dribble past everyone and shoot and score himself, so after a while of making runs with no joy, we all just stopped making the runs.

I remmeber roy never used to pass the ball on concrete pitch so i will use that to analyse nazon hahahahha
Roy? Who's Roy? Wegerle you mean?

And where on earth has this school thing come from? You've just conjured that up in your head. Who has mentioned playing on the school playground?

Probably because he's Fr**ch.

Oh right, there you go. Proves it. You can't say Fr**ch.
Seems a bit random. Are you sure you chaps aren't putting in asterisks yourself, just to wind me up?

Look what happens when the Duke passes.

Huge improvement.
Agree, he was looking up every time. Made a massive difference and although the spotlight wasn't on him so much for shooting it made him look better for laying it off.

Wasn't there to see his overall game but from the streaming I seen it was a much improved performance on last week by Nazon.

Tho quite funny how the same scenario opens up, he passes and McNulty shot is blocked and Nazon comes in to tidy up and score!

Nicely taken goal by McNulty tho later on. Hopefully another goal gives him the habit back to fire on.

I have a sneaky feeling that Robins gave Duck a serious talking to after his showing at the Crawley game. Both performances were at two ends of the spectrum. Like previous posts have said, he was constantly looking for the pass rather than shooting from improbable distances or running himself into trouble. If he does that week in week out the goals will come thick and fast for himself and the team. Well done to McNulty as well. Although he has a few doubters, its difficult to question his finishing ability. 3 games in a row he's found the net now - may this form long continue.

I think Robins MUST have had a word. If the players have been moaning on the pitch at Nazon for not passing, they surely have been moaning in the dressing room too.

As has been said. Previously Nazon wasn't even looking up half the time and was just going for glory himself. You can see that yesterday he looked and saw a better option on.

Long may it continue.

How could he not have a word, his performance against Crawley gave the impression that he had no regard for any other teammate on the pitch. Like you said he was simply going for glory.

Strikers have to be selfish at times yes, but not to that extent. Probably a contentious comment from myself but Nazon cost us a win IMO. He could've put McNulty through on a number of occasions where I don't doubt that he probably would've scored and subsequently put the game to bed.
