Indeed.

I am only talking about those who pretty much only come on here when we lose.
Yes and I did get the point. Lets get the balance right though-praise where it is due and criticism when it is due. Lets not forget that 8 or 9 as good as they were today were, woeful last week.
Lets hope it's today's team that turns up again on Friday.

I come on here win, lose or draw but I am going to disagree with the OP.

Today's game could easily have been drawn or even lost. Cheltenham nearly scored in added time when the ball rolled across our 6 yard area and they missed it.

Our forward line continues to look atrocious. McNulty and Biamou try their best but it simply isn't good enough. They both waste lots of good possession when we are around the opposition's penalty area and they both waste really good chances. McNulty almost missed the goal he scored with a very poor first touch when he pinged the ball towards their goal keeper. A better keeper would have come out more quickly and saved it. Biamou's efforts were also very very poor. He looks like he could go the entire season and still not get a goal.

The only reason MR keeps singing their praises is that he doesn't want them to lose even more confidence and because he knows he won't have the money to buy anything better.

I didn't see anything in today's game that makes me optimistic. In addition, I haven't seen any evidence of SISU wanting to ever improve our squad. So I am not sure why Otis is pinning so much hope on that.

Otis, how about you put your money where your over optimistic mouth is? I bet we will finish somewhere outside the playoffs whereas you bet we will finish somewhere in the top 7. 50 quid to a charity of the winner's choosing.

Nope, you are still completely missing the point.

Again I'm not. Can't people come on here win, lose or draw and give whatever opinion they want, whichever poster it is?

Never said he was. Still doesn't mean he was right though.
You think it is okay for posters to only come on here when we lose and completely slag the team off and do so with a lack of constructive insight?

Surely as fans we come on and talk about the club and criticise when they do badly and praise when they do well and we discuss in a constructive manner.

I would offer that fans who only come on when we lose and then just come out with 'we're crap' and not offer anything else are not really true City fans at all.

Has anyone honestly seen the likes of Glen and co on here unless we lose?

What sort of supporter would sit at home and think to themselves I am going to wait until we lose and then go on the forum just to let everyone just how crap we are?

It almost comes across like they want us to lose just so they can come on and remind everybody what a bad side we truly are.

Or they want to get everybody worked up even more...

One win from either of the next two games please to keep us in the mix. Win neither and the merchants of doom will be back.

we won today against a very competent Cheltenham side. its a good day....

no offence to our scouting network, but if we had Eisa as opposed to Biamou, i think we would be right up there
He looked the real deal - wonder how much we’d have to part with to get him?

Dangerous every time he got the ball.

I think it's fine for people to say whatever they want. If they think we are crap (which we are up front) then I think they are ok to say that.

Anyway it seems you're not taking up the offer of a bet? Maybe you are not as optimistic as you make out.

Or they're sick of being run into the ground by shitty owners.

Not that anyone could accuse you of that.
You are trying your hardest aren't you.

OR they just want to get all angry if we lose for something to be angry about. Nowhere to be seen if we win.

If they are real people, they seem to be running themselves into the ground only being interested in us losing.

Not at all. I did send you a message, or at least I thought I had, but I hadn't in fact clicked to actually send it.

Have sent it now!

Yup. Can talk about the shitty owners whether we win, lose or draw.

Think some are missing the point that certain posters ONLY come on if we lose. Never, ever see them otherwise.

I just say the truth - it's not that hard.

I am not the one with a reputation for deflecting any criticism of our illustrious owners. How many times have posters accused you of that? In comparison how many times have I been accused?

So what? Many people have stopped going and a couple of them only post when we lose. Surprise surprise, that's what happens when you have an unsuccessful team. It really isn't a big conspiracy against CCFC or SISU.

How many times have they backed it up? How many times have they been shown to bullshit to push agendas?

It's a lazy argument thrown out, usually at times like this. Last time it was people from a particular fan group pushing it from a shady account ;) very strange.

You obviously aren't saying the truth, you said Otis was wrong. He isn't

Right....it's all a big conspiracy. Poor old you, so sadly misunderstood by people who are lazy.

IMHO Otis is wrong.

Anyway we will see who is right at the end of the season. You're deluded if you agree with Otis that we are going to get promoted.

What are you on about? He was saying certain people only turn up when we lose or have a bad result. It's correct.

Where has he said we will be promoted?

It's as if you aren't getting the point he is making but want to start on me, or go on about something not said to ignore it.

But if we win 3 in a row you don't see them. 3 in a row and we are then not an unsuccessful team at that point and are doing well.

Why don't they come on here then? They just wait until we lose (and every team loses at some point) and then slate the team and the club.

I find that very odd. Win, no sign, lose, straight on and it's usually just minutes after the game has ended.

It’s not that odd. People make a decision to stop going and they then see defeats as a justification for that decision. It’s just the same (in reverse) as those people who continue to go and are wildly over optimistic when we scrape a win. In psychology it’s called Confirmation Bias. It’s a form of irrationality that many people suffer from.
