We are scraping wins like today and are hanging on to the coat tails of smaller clubs who appear to have more genuine momentum to get promoted.
I can't remember when we last won 3 in a row, but if we did, you'd see crowds increase. It may be only a thousand or so or even less to begin with, but if beyond that we put together an unbeaten run of wins and draws, playing attractive , positive football , we would be getting up to 8,000. The problem is no one is seeing anything at home that looks convincing, that makes them leave the Ricoh thinking they can't wait for the next home game. It's disjointed, disorganised and difficult to watch. If I didn't know the league table, I'd say we were mid table at best given our home form, and yet here we are still in touch with the play offs. It's a strange situation but I'm still to be convinced that we are the best team in this league. We might well be the best team to miss out on the play offs however.

Where have you been for the last few years?
It’s not that odd. People make a decision to stop going and they then see defeats as a justification for that decision. It’s just the same (in reverse) as those people who continue to go and are wildly over optimistic when we scrape a win. In psychology it’s called Confirmation Bias. It’s a form of irrationality that many people suffer from.

You Singers, coming on here wiv yer intelligence, running rings round the opposition, you piss taking bastard....wiv yer long words and common sense. Bastard.

Where's that happened? The bit where he denies it happens and Otis is wrong?

A prime example of billy bullshit (you that is)

Akinfenwa is a beast, but then you don't get the pace with him.

Was very impressed with Eisa today, though we did give him too much space.

I thought Eisa had a lively first half but much quieter in the second plus should have been sent off in the first half for two bookings either side of his goal one for feigning injury and one for a blatant dive. I don't think he's any better than most we have unless we could swap him for Beavon who I would swop for somebody with one leg

Where are all the 'we're crap,' 'midtable at best,' not good enough bunch today? We keep it like that going into the new year and strengthen as has been alluded to we should be in a very good position to push forwards and kick on.

Where's that happened? The bit where he denies it happens and Otis is wrong?

I replied to Otis because I am one of the 'midtable at best' posters. I disagreed with his comment that we will be stronger after January and that we would improve our current position.

I am not sure what it is I am supposed to have denied. I simply disagreed with his above comments. Are you making up more bullshit Nick?

He looked the real deal - wonder how much we’d have to part with to get him?

Dangerous every time he got the ball.

Agreed, But still needed 4 good chances to convert 1, something McNulty is getting criticised for. (I'm being a bit hypocritical here because I've been fairly critical of McNulty myself but it seems to be coming together now).

He said should be in a stronger position.. You then start going on about otis saying we will be promoted.

The word should kind of gives it away. As does saying if we strengthen as alluded to.

Yep.

I do think we have a very good chance of being promoted, but have never thought it is cast in stone or an odds on certainty. Certainly not since we started losing games against lower placed opposition anyway.

I do think we still have a great chance, but January is critical and we must do good business in the transfer window.

you're right about January, in this league one really good loan signing can make all the difference for any team in the division.

Can we compartMENTALISE the site?
1) Compartment 1 = those who deify Ccfc
2) Compartment 2 = those who’s only pleasure is Ccfc
3) Compartment 3 = those who cannot contemplate or condone criticism and think opinion should be limited to their personally held position.
4) Compartment 4 = those who years ago foresaw where a once great club were headed and found greater pleasure elsewhere but periodically dip back into an old very bad state of affairs...and cannot resist reminding themselves of that earlier dependency and how far, ever since, they have come.....
5) Those who’s only pleasure is misery; theirs and others.
Of course, each of these compartments should also be subdivided into those on or off medication, those of certain psych-social dispositions; (optimistic and pessimistic, no perspective, sense of humour, etc.), whether the lunar calendar is a factor? (menstruating) alongside seasonal variations; SAD, diet, and so on.

Alternatively, (which I would recommend) leave as is.

Is the Russell brand wannabe really trying to go on about meds?

You will soon do one when the need for agenda pushing dies down.

Your compartment isn't named in a child friendly way. We can call it worms though?

I personally am worried about the transfer window. The supposed shortfall in the budget will mean sales if true. Can't really see any player coming in that's going to rip the league up due to said budget unless we get lucky with a kid on loan aka Armstrong or Murphy.
Predicted 10th at start of the season and think that's about right still. Losing our 2 most creative players for the season is a massive blow.

You and your agenda pushing. It’s a bit mad isn’t it.

There is no agenda, it's weird you give it that but will defend people with actual agendas isn't it?

It will be ok in a couple of weeks when there's no need for them to post...

I was talking about you saying that other people have agendas.

Or they are simply rationalizing their decision to no longer go by posting every time we lose. That's the Confirmation Bias thing that I mentioned before.

It's rather like your own Confirmation Bias every time you see an imaginary agenda by various fans, fans groups, and the CT.

Hardly, when it's pretty obvious about agendas... At which point do you want to start about them?

People aren't rationalising anything, they are just straight up gloating. On a CCFC fans forum that isn't going to go down well is it?
