Wasn't a back pass was a shot. Was more a pass back, and the keeper made it look better than it was by parrying it, but Ok, we will count it

Robins needs to be drilling a style of play into them in the training field. At the start of the season we’d break quickly with Jones and even when we didn’t play well there was a chance of some magic. Now he’s gone I couldn’t tell you what our style of play is. Sometimes we’re going long, sometimes it goes out wide, sometimes players run through the middle. You could say we’re ‘mixing it up’ but the players don’t appear to know what their team mates are doing with the ball so they’re not reacting correctly. It’s all so disjointed at times.
Tell you what Otis, a bit off post, but have a look at our results for 66/67, our famous promotion season. We lost at Huddersfield on November 19, and that was the last time we lost that season. 25 games, 15 wins, 10 draws, and we only won the league on the last game of the season! How much would we love a run half as good as that??Yup. Had my Sky Blue heart broken far too many times over the years.
Can we not please just have one little run of say 8 games unbeaten?
I put it on my Santa wishlist!! Looks like the beardy fat barsteward let me down yet again.
I’m sure Einstein the donkey would say yes
3 of our first choice 4 midfielders injured plus our #10 in Andreu. Can't wait for Jan 1st.
Sadly, when he went off we looked more like conceding as the ball was coming back at us a lot more as we were still going long.
Really bloody annoys me. I only started going that first season in the top division, AFTER the Sky Blue revolution and I have seen so much perpetual struggle over the years.Tell you what Otis, a bit off post, but have a look at our results for 66/67, our famous promotion season. To be fair, 3 of those 4 have only got injured in the last month. I still maintain it's mostly the way we set up, although how deep our defence is sitting is becoming as much of an issue as the gap was in attacking midfield. It forces the long ball out of Doyle and the CBs towards a completely isolated Biamou.Massive impact on why we’re not in the autos. Too many over look this fact.

Agree with all of that other than the Willis part - thought he was our best defender today (although didn't get forward much).Robins' to blame for a lot of it today.
Willis is not a right back, has never had a good game there.
Throwing Ponticelli out wide was never going to work.
Should not have taken Biamou off. Wasn't having a great game, but he's the only physical threat we have.
A lot of it seems to be Doyle, half the time he doesn't look up just loops it forward.
.
Yeh, I always consider myself lucky, as well as God knows how many years of hurt, I had 3 or 4 years from 1963, when we used to roll teams over at home, won two promotions, and it was often a matter of not whether we would win but by how many. There’s been a few good times after those halcyon days, but a lot more pain!Really bloody annoys me. We do have an issue with momentum. Luton lost once in 18, unbeaten in 8. Notts County unbeaten in 10, Lincoln unbeaten in 5 winning 4 of them, Colchester 1 defeat in 11. Our best is 4 games unbeaten at the end of September.Really bloody annoys me. Would like to know what he considered a good opening today. We didn't create a chance all game so unless he is referring to moves that broke down due to poor crosses then he's just deflecting away from a bad day in the office.Robins
Created some good openings, first and second half, second we huffed and puffed more
Burge just been on “we are aiming to be in the automatic playoffs”Robins
Was disappointing
Were well in the game
Difficult place to come
They have some difficult attackers
Disappointing as chance to go third
Didn’t get chance to have a shot on goal or on target
Almost costly mix up (Burge / Davies)
Really poor goal to give away
Not about formations
Created some good openings, first and second half, second we huffed and puffed more
Had some match winners in the side
When we give goal away always looking to try and force our way back into it
Beauty of it is we can make up for it Saturday
When you don’t play brilliantly still have to look for positives
One shot on target is poor
Losing Vincenti throws things
Thought game and got to move on
Unsure of Vincenti injury due to Christmas period
Swelling and pain

Keep telling you mate-jokers like him in the team and we won’t progress. He also commented how it was a shame they couldn’t send the fans away with a point. A point against opposition like that? I’m hoping he didn’t opt for 3 points just on the basis that there was only 1 goal in it? And not that they’d have been happy with a point today?
Where was that, the 99p store?Ahhh, I see you got an Otis joke book for Xmas!

There is of course some truth in that, but Andreu could play wide and we did deploy him there at least once, Jones was a wide player and Vincenti has been playing wide right too.Where was that, the 99p store?
Why anyone thinks that Willis can be deployed at RB is beyond me. His performances there, particularly Orient away under SP, make my skin crawl with the anticipation of impending doom. As for our club's predilection for putting a striker on the wing, our club seems to have no equal.
Bloody hell, that really does tell a horror story. The difference been autos and playoffs right there:

That's three players right there.
Past playing DKE today, Robins didn't have many options left.

When you think about it, it's a miracle we are as high as we are. And with a striker who hasn't scored a single goal all season! We do have an issue with momentum. Luton lost once in 18, unbeaten in 8. Notts County unbeaten in 10, Lincoln unbeaten in 5 winning 4 of them, Colchester 1 defeat in 11. Our best is 4 games unbeaten at the end of September.
And if he had have changed to said formation and we had still have lost he would have been absolutely slated on here for changing to a completely different systemHe could have deployed a diamond type midfield.
remember those days wish we could do it nowYeh, I always consider myself lucky, as well as God knows how many years of hurt, I had 3 or 4 years from 1963, when we used to roll teams over at home, won two promotions, and it was often a matter of not whether we would win but by how many. Only trouble with that is, for me, this a shit or bust season, a one chance scenario.Robins should be given till the end of the season, and if we are not in the playoffs he has to go
