So what does he bring to the game can’t score can’t head it can’t run anymore if he was a horse they would be calling the vet

He clearly isn't going to win headers, the same as McNulty isn't. It's why it's pointless going long every time, as we just give them the ball.

It's called having a system and adjusting to the players on the pitch. Either go in channels or to feet.

I just don't get the constant long ball tactic. It's not good at the best of times but with this line up we need to get it down and play to feet.

What was our plan for how to win the game today? I know we have injuries but you need to formulate a game plan based on who is available. Today that should have been playing high up the pitch to force the players closer together and quick short passing game to get the ball into the feet of the strikers. This just looks like we chucked out whoever was fit and told them to get on with it.

Half time, needs changes. It's clearly just hoping we don't concede and taking the draw.

So much for 12 from 12.

Pointless doing that with him he is useless he is not the worst player I have seen us have but he is in the top five.

He hasn’t the pace to run the channels and he can’t hold it up

Beavon's only strong point is getting it to feet and holding it up. McNulty is good at running the channels.

Again, it's Beavon's fault today. Nothing to do with every time we get it we aimlessly hammer it forward. Shipley has been considerably worse.

It was Biamou's last week.

May as well take Mcnulty and Beavon off and stick 2 defenders on because they are doing fuck all

Not being given a chance really, due to our stupid long ball tactic.

It seems we're playing 8-2. Tactic is to punt it long to the 2 short guys up front.

Half time came at the perfect time for us, another 5 minutes and we'd have conceded. I suspect, if he could, Robins would only play defenders.

I'd swap DKE for Biamou, play him on the right. Shipley for Duck and put Beavon on the left.

Have the outlet for headers at least.

Both Biamou and Beavon are useless, the problem is that the side has no drive or pace and was reliant on Jones

The problem is we are hammering it forward every time to small strikers marked by big defenders, anybody can see it won't work.

If they are useless, at least try to play to one of their strengths. It's where managers come into play, adjust systems to suit the players.

Duck and Ponticelli time anyone ? Have no idea why the Duck is on the bench so much of late ... bemusing ... seriously ... especially with our ineffective front end of the last couple of games ?

Only if we change the system to suit, they won't win headers either.

The difficulty must be finding their strengths both keep them so well hidden , we had a chance to get rid of Beavon in the summer and missed out

Absolutely. You either bring on somebody who might win a few headers or you change the long ball tactic. Poor tactical play is becoming depressingly familiar this season.

Oh dear oh dear, sounds like league 2 football at its worst. Our players and squad are bang average though, so we'll win some and lose some. There is no ambition whatsoever to invest to succeed, so we are where we are.

It’s not quite as bad as Morecambe but then again that’s hardly a compliment for the players!

Should come out all attack second half

Sacrifice a defender and throw on Duck and bring on Biamou for Beavon

Could be a good game for Ponti but won’t suit playing out wide
