Second loanee imminent (14 Viewers)

Ooh Gary Mac and Bakes, the Nando’s bomb squad, just need McDonald, Bell and Mcpake to complete it.

What are the grounds of him being recalled? If he cannot make the cut for a team 2 places above us it's hardly likely he'd be a game changer for us...
Not seen much of him but if it is him remember players need to suit styles and buy into the culture of a club.. so it’s not always a straight forward as “he didn’t make it there so he won’t make it here”

He was injured so returned to Brighton for treatment. Regained fitness earlier this month and was due to go back to Lincoln. No doubt we'll hear more in due course
He was at Dagenham & Redbridge last season and was a fan's favourite

It's true players can thrive under different managers and different systems. But it's difficult not to pre-judge a player such as Maguire-Drew given his record and time at Lincoln when we're at a time where we need to get it right during this transfer window.

So remember yourself that it isn't as simple as "players need to suit styles and buy into the culture of the club" when as a loanee, they're on limited time to do so.

I'd welcome Maguire-Drew with open arms if we hypothetically brought him in, it's not wrong to be sceptical how he'd perform given the fact that his confidence has probably taken a hit.

His last apearance for lincoln was the EFL trophy where he got player of the round and scored 2 (according to BHA website) so I wouldn’t have thought he’d be low on confidence, hopefully if it is him he carries on that form.

Oh given that he was injured that's fair, I assumed he was simply knocked down the pecking order based on form. Given Lincoln are in relatively decent form at the minute the chances of Maguire-Drew getting minute's are likely to be few and far between, so hypothetically it's logical for both parties (player and parent club) to transfer to CCFC for the rest of the season. Brighton have an obligation to do right by their player after all.

I didn't realise that he'd actually spent a chunk of his time at Lincoln on the treatment table. I had assumed his lack of game time coincided with lack of form. My mistake.

If the window opens today, you would have thought it would be today or tomorrow. If anyone is going to the game today, keep your eyes peeled to see if you can spot any clues...

We will be signing the ex Cov player who is doing the CWR broadcast then.

I can imagine the player we bring in isn’t anyone that’s been mentioned on here. We need a winger and a striker to compliment McNulty?

Mr Foster on CWR interviewing Mark Robins after the game today , did he ask Mark Robins if there's any news on any new players coming in this week, permanent or loans . what do you think !

Mr Foster , you my make a good journalist one day .
Oh have a day off. Mr Foster has managed a long career as a journalist with the BBC. What the fuck would you know about it?
